Definitely not a luxury hotel but airport shuttle and price is right. Basic but included continental breakfast. The hotel is dated but the rooms are ok, cable tv, updated bathroom and comfy bed. Overall a decent option for a quick layover hotel.
School break and we arrived in Vancouver without hotel reservations! On chance we lucked out and found a room at the Abercorn Inn in Richmond. The reception was
accommodating and gave us a king bed room. It was clean, had a fridge, spacious and had...More
Hotel is old style and no longer has a bar and restaurant but a Chinese restaurant on site. We walked to Moxies bar and grill so options close by.
Breakfast was very included but very basic with plastic cutlery and paper cups and plates. Scrambled...More

Booked this hotel because of price and location. The breakfast was good and the room was clean.
From what I experienced, with hotel staff and guests, they seem to cater more to Japanese and Chinese clients.More

There is a phone in the shuttle waiting area and Abercorn is the first # on the shuttle list. The shuttle generally runs every half hour on the 15 minute mark but if you feel you have been waiting long, you can make the free call from that phone. If you are arriving late at night, I would suggest you let the hotel know and use the shuttle phone to call them as soon as you get to the waiting area.
For your return to the airport, just let the front desk know what time you would like to take the shuttle back.
Yes,they will hold your room for a late night arrival and I believe all rooms are non smoking. I just happen to be staying here right mow.
I like this hotel. The included breakfast is good, the hotel is not cookie cutter and I usually have a bath tub in my restroom which is very nice for a good soak after 12 hours of flying.
