Called in for a meal. Service good. Portions a bit on the small side. Very average but plenty of custard with dessert.nothing to write home about. Thought about having pie but there were mushrooms in nearly all of them - chose something else.

Stayed 1 night, room was a decent size, but the shower could do with an upgrade. The food in the restaurant was excellent and there was a good selection of beers. Breakfast was also very good. Food stated it was all locally sourced which was a nice touch. Plenty of parking.

We have been enjoying our stays at this little jewel for six years now . Just returned from another totally restful break. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all facilities. All en suites recently been refurbished. Considering the great age of the building it is really warm and cosy. Sit and enjoy a drink from the well stocked bar by...

Just returned from an overnight stay here and really impressed with the food and service. We would recommend the pies as absolutely delicious and you can also purchase at their on sight shop. Full English breakfast also exceptional. Will definitely return.
