We spent the last night of our honeymoon at the Peace & Plenty & wish it had been the first. Judy was a wonderful hostess & took very good care of us. The room (Windsor) was extremely comfortable & the complimentary port & sherry (as well as the Devonport chocolates) were welcome treats. The bathroom was very nicely done &...

Peace and Plenty in Auckland was a treasure found after a womens forum where we were busy, etc. The setting was very peaceful...the food was excellent and the hospitality was beyond words. Judy is a great hostess and it was great to experience the B&B in Auckland. So if you are ever in Auckland try it out...the setting near the...

Elegantly furnished and decorated, the Peace and Plenty Inn was a relaxing end to our honeymoon. Breakfast was delicious and the host and staff were both friendly and helpful. Despite being only a couple of minutes walk from the local shopping and restaurant precinct, the Inn really is quite peaceful. My wife is a long-time Labrador fan, so Stanley (the...

Peace and Plenty was a fantastic place to stay for a romantic weekend away. The rooms are all gorgeous (I want to come back and stay in a different room next time) and Judy is a very welcoming host. Helpful but not intrusive! The breakfast was yummy and the finishing touches to Judy's presentation was perfection. I would highly recommend...

This is one of the best bed & breakfasts we have stayed in so far. It far exceeded our expectations (and we like to consider ourselves well travelled). Overall, excellent; the clean and beautifully decorated rooms ( we had such good sleep!), decoration (so elegant & unique), location (5minute walk to the ferry and food), gourmet breakfast, host (helpful and...

We usually stay in motels or hotels, but after arriving in Auckland and driving around some less than inspiring motel options, we selected the Peace and Plenty B&B because it was the only place recommended in more than one guide book. We were really pleased with our choice. It is situated in Devonport, which is a 10 min ferry crossing...

Owner and staff made us so welcome that we felt like family. Excellent accommodation and service. Breakfast was first class. Perfect location close to shops and ferry terminal and walks along the harbour front. Would highly recommend this B & B to anyone wanting accommodation in Devonport.
