The house was very easy to find and in a lovely area. Aubusson and Felletin were wonderful for tapestries, Saint Quentin had a great evening market and the Lac de Lavaud-Gelade had lots to do in and around. Our hosts were welcoming and it was nice to eat with them and other guests. The food was so good and lovely... More

Villa Valliere is a wonderful little place to spend time in. The service given is wonderful: personal, caring, of a high standard. The building is special and beautiful, rooms are spacious and the walled garden is lovely to relax in. The surroudings of Villa Valliere are beautiful: green, hilly, quiet, authentic, perfect for long walks. I try to go to... More

This is a beautiful house and gardens in the village. Very relaxing and quiet, with host John and his wife. We stayed for three nights in a comfortable room with free wifi, tea/ coffee and water. We had a lovely bathroom with shower, no bath. The room was big and comfortable beds. We had the continental breakfast each morning, the... More

This beautiful building used to be girls school and has been turned into an amazing Chambre d'Hotes with the most incredible attention to detail. That said, we turned up with our huge dog and were never made to feel anything other than completely welcome by our hosts Annika and Anita. The breakfast is nothing short of formidable (you'd better be... More

Very impressed with this villa. Hosts here were amazing, and so welcoming. And the food - very fresh, very delicious, and very French. Our room looked out over the the Villa's extensive garden and along the Main Street of this quaint village, and was beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable. Nice modern bathroom. Would thoroughly recommend this place - an... More

Beautiful location, stunning building, welcoming hosts, great food. What more could you ask for? Just make sure you have cash with you, they don't accept plastic, although here is a cash point in the village if you are stuck. Talking of the village, there is a crazy antique shop which is well worth a visit (not the one opposite which... More

Exceptional location, nicely decorated rooms with good bathroom and great beds. The area is very green and you can make great walks or bike rides. There are also some very interesting towns (including Aubusson) and sightseeing (Sous-Parsat, modern church with frescoes) nearby that make a stay worth while. And the hospitality of the owners makes you really feel at home!... More
