We had a 3 nights stay at the Crocus and took one of their corner suites on the first floor. It offers ample space and overlookes the inner courtyard and the adjacent vineyard.
The suite was clean and very well maintained, the large bathroom is sort of separated into three areas - a separate toilet at the right, a sink and space for toiletries in the centre, and a walk in shower on the left. As a special goodie, this suite features a hottub in the living area close to several windows to enjoy the view. The bed is comfortable, and the sofa can be turned into a bed, too. The suite also had a nice terrace.
The spa area is very pleasant as well, offering a reasonably big pool, another sitting pool and a small whirlpool. The sauna area is available upon request and leaves nothing to be desired.
Breakfast can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors, and offers local and traditional Hungarian dishes and options. Bonus: They offer frizzante from their own winery, too.
Parking is avilable without problems, usually right in front of the entrance, and free of charge.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming, which completes the great impression we had.

We came yesterday abd we had perfect stay so far. We came with family for 4 nights. The pool area is great, rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast was delicious. Hopefully we will have the perfect stay till the end of our hollidays. We highly recomend this hotel.

My new perfect hideout to recharge and focus on myself. I had everything I needed. The room was clean and comfy. The spa terrace was one of the best. It was private, calm and relaxing. The staff was helpful and nice. Loved staying here and surely will come for more.

Fantastic place with friendly and helpful people and staff. Unfortunately we couldn't try the spa but everything else was excellent. Their restaurant is also outstanding and the vines are quite good too! Only the beds were a little bit uncomfortable for us but this is perhaps up to individual taste. I hope they will remain always like this, even when tourism will be back to normal!

We stayed here 3 nights and it was fantastic! Excellent food, tasty wines and a truly relaxing wellness facility. The staff was polite and friendly, they really did above and beyond. Keep it going, well done!

What is the next level after excellent? Probably Crocus Gere. :-) it was one of my best experience and joyful staying in my life. And it is only 4 star? Why? If you ever go to Villany you will understand the meaning of good wines, no matter where you are staying. If you stay in Crocus you will get some special extras on the top which will gives you an unforgettable memories about perfection.
Rooms are great - in terms of size (we have received a free of charge room upgrade), with a nice "winery feels" accommodation. Free WiFi of course. Wellness is also nice, more highlighted with the swimming pool. It is beautiful.
And on the top the kitchen of the Hotel is almost on a Michelin star level.
For my taste next to Tiffán and Polgár :-), Gere's wine are the best.

We missed the real hungarian Food in the Mandula Restaurant.
The wellness area is very good.

My birthday celebration at this hotel started with relaxation at the pool and spa area and later at the evening we enjoyed the fantastic degustation menu together with friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the excellent wines and food served by a friendly and professional staff. I’m sure I will revisit this hotel soon.

This is one of the best hotels in Hungary, we enjoyed every minute during the weekend. We stayed in the Resort room, it was spacious, very comfortable, clean and classy, also the temperature was pleasant inside (due to the chilled walls) while the weather outside was extremely hot.The staff is very friendly and helpful, always smiling. The wellness area is big, including a nice pool. I cannot praise enough the degustation menu in the evening, the dishes were perfect, as were also the wines and we highly appreciated the waiter's competence. This hotel has an outstanding chef beyond doubt. If you plan a vacation here, do not miss to book the degustation menu dinner in advance! Also taste Gere-Weninger Cabernet Franc selection, it's our favourite wine here.
The buffet breakfast did not neglect any individual preference, offered more choice than in usual 4-star hotels.
We have been several times in Villány before but this was our first stay in Gere Crocus. We will return.

this hotel was chosen by my boss as a place where we can organize the meeting for our clients. the minute we arrived I knew this was a perfect choice.. can't find enough words to say everything I want so: comfortable and lovely rooms (I had standard in an older part and really enjoyed it, especially that I could hear crickets and birds every evening..some other people from my group had superior rooms, even nicer and newer), great SPA area with professional staff, food - outstanding, choice of wine - the widest I've seen.. and most of all - absolutely charming, beautiful, smiling and helpful waitresses, waiters and girls from the reception. although I had to work, I also had an amazing time and really didn't want to leave. but I will come back!
