The Staff were very friendly. The location was easy to find as it was in a location near ferry landing point. The rooms were basic islands style huts. The location is close to several beaches within a few minutes walk.

After reaching Koh Rong, every backpacker would say: THIS IS IT! Destination is not commercialized, no luxury resorts, commercialized destinations nor poor and expensive shopping streets (or streets at all)... in short pure nature with friendly hostels on the ferrie coast. Long beach (MUST SEE) is just a 30-40 mins walk trough the Jungle (not recommended to go alone, you...

Koh Rong has the most beautiful sea and beaches I have ever seen! However, this beautiful Island is being destroyed minute by minute every day. The island is supposed to be protected from further development but this is being ignored by the local police and tourists who frequent there. You can hear building work all day, the trees in the...

A beautiful little island situated a 2 hour boat journey of the South of Cambodia. It is not for the faint hearted as the island only has limited power from the generators. The beach front bungalows only have power for a few hours a day so, showers are cold and the nights are very warm. The upside is, the island...

Island life, it makes you slow and happy. I felt right at home staying on Koh Rong in KRBPs. Its cheap, and they cater to your needs. Good breakfasts, good beers, good drinking buddies everywhere. KRBPs fills the needs of all us cheap backpackers who want it cheap and cheerful.

Brought to you by Koh Rong Divers. They seem to own the island. Backpacker rooms at high prices. Don't trust positive revues for the restaurant, guesthouse or dive centre as they offer insentives for a positive revue according to sign in Coco restaurant (I think a free beer)

Stayed for a couple of nights - right on the pier we landed at so super convenient and meant getting a lot of wind, so nice and cool. Staff there were also super cool and really fun to just chat too. Had an issue with leaving my wallet in their safe and going to Siem Reap, but they were so...

People were very friendly but the hostel itself is at most average. There was no water for two days. The sanitary situation was therefore awful. It's true that they warned that there may be a lack of water from time to time because it is dry season, but each day the friendly staff had to tell there would be water...

We originally booked 4 nights but ended up leaving because there was no water for three days. It's true that we were originally warned that there may be a lack of water from time to time because it is dry season, but each day we were told there would be water the next. We stayed in a dorm, which I...

I stayed at Koh Rong Backpackers Hostel for 4 nights. When I checked in I was told that there might be issues with electricity and water shortage from time to time. But it turned out, that the water didn't work during the whole five days I stayed there. So I had to go somewhere else to have a shower every...
