We stayed here for two nights and we're delighted with this b&b. Our hostess was very welcoming and informative on arrival and gave us helpful advice about places to eat. Some may want to stay in York itself but Wood Farm is just ten minutes' drive from the park and ride, a lovely working farm in a superbly peaceful location. Great location being just 5/10 minutes drive from the York Park and Ride system, so ideal for getting into the city. Despite that, the B&B is situated down a tarmac lane, and through the farmyard. Once there, it is so peaceful. Helen is a lovely host and happy to give recommendations for places to visit. Breakfast is everything from cereals...

This is a farm B&B run by the wonderful Sherry family. Helen and her daughter Claire are two very nice and friendly ladies who are always eager to help and will get you anything your heart desires. Wood Farm is situated on the outskirts of York. It is very handy for the Park and Ride Service into York which is very easy to use. Wood Farm is very clean, light and airy. Nice quiet location, despite being close to main roads. Very helpful host with lots of information about places to eat locally with menus and prices for all suggestions. . Ideal for the Park and Ride into York, we also visited Castle Howard and had a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at Wood Farm over the Whit Bank Holiday Weekend and we loved it. We had the four poster room which was stunning with fantastic views.
