We stayed at the hotel on our cycle tour from Land's End to John O'Groats. It was our wedding anniversary and we had made our reservation to treat ourselves to a bit of class and a lovely romantic meal. Our stay was unfortunately spoiled due to the treatment we received regarding the hotel dress code for dinner which resulted in...

Stayed for 2 nights last week. Had a lovely room in the North Wing, the communal rooms were comfortable and excellent art everywhere. The lack of Reception was disappointing. The restaurant was very expensive, even by London standards, with small portions. Would definitely return to the hotel but eat elsewhere.

Delightful hotel, comfortable and well appointed room, the dinner was sublime. Sadly only a small selection of half bottles of wine - and the 2 we ordered were out of stock which was a shame. Charming gardens and kennels for dogs which was a welcome bonus. Our bill was incorrectly made up so do keep eyes open for that. Staff...

We went to Llangoed Hall for a couple of days of relaxation after our wedding. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our luxurious room. The room was very grand and tastefully decorated with high quality items. Our pre-ordered champagne was chilled and waiting, and the complementary sherry was also a nice treat. The food was brilliant. Very...

This is a beautiful hotel in which to enjoy a luxury break. Expensive, yes but as a treat hard to beat. Decent walks to be had nearby and adequate maps are provided. Cuisine is absolutely outstanding and staff are exemplary Mid week deals would tempt us back

The location is beautiful, with its own fabulous gardens, including a maze and wild flower meadow. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and tastefully decorated with lovely views. The al a carte menu offered plenty of choice and included the use of their home grown produce, which was flavoursome and cooked to perfection....

Went using a laterooms.com booking, which made it great value. Rooms are very comfortable, with good facilities and amenities. Beds are comfortable, and the chairs and desk are good. Breakfast is the usual highlight, with friendly service and well sized portions. Great walks around the local countryside and along the riverside. A great place to stay, made even better with...

Having booked this hotel online through one of these booking sites I expected to end up with the normal type of room but what surprise when my wife and I arrived to be shown to a suite. The hall was in a beautiful setting and take the short walk to the river, looked to be great for fly fishing! Expect the service and food to match the best you've had. When it's awarded a Michelin star, the foods that good, you'll be sorry not to have gone before as it'll get busy when it does. Room was...
