We had the opportunity to stop in Maison Vallee de Ziz and to eat the best Coscus we ate during our trip in Morocco. The owner was very kind and gave us the best authentic meal we could wish for. The hotel is very beautiful. It's really a kind of Oasis in the middle of the desert. The pool area... More

We just booked the night before as were were travelling from Azrou to Merzouga, could not have asked for anything better. Beautiful, comfortable room over looking the garden; tea by the pool followed by a swim, and dinner by candlelight. It's worth going onto the roof to see the stars! Tasty breakfast on the terrace. Would recommend this for independent... More

We stayed one night here before heading to the desert. The room was spacious, clean and very pretty. The people who own the hotel are really nice, accomodating and welcoming. The breakfast orange juice was the best we ever had. Highly recommended.

We spend one night at the Maison before heading to the Sahara. What a delightful place, overlooking the palmerie. In the morning, we walked to the river through the palmerie--delightful tour. It's a calm and lovely spot and the meals are delicious. We spent time talking to the family about their hotel, and everyone was warm, helpful and friendly (as... More

We stayed one night here. The room was clean and big, the washbasin from stone and with fossil cravings was amazing. The food was excellent and the people were very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant.

It turned up out of no where from Arrachida. We thought we were in the middle if no where going ' no where' and then 25 kms on the valley oasis turned up...a literal breath of fresh air. True hospitality by Mohammed and his nephew....mint tea, walking tour around the oasis and later a Dromedary ride in Merzouga.... Thank you.

Along the way throug the Atlas mountains from/to Fes lies this hostel with a Palmyard and a river in its backyard. Rooms to the back are the nicest (balcony) and despite the national road in front of the house the nights are really calm. The breakfast we enjoyed was amazing: Huge selection of sweet and salty food, even some pastry.... More

My father and I were cycling through and luckly our guide had us turn around to stay the night here. It was the cleanest hotel we had stayed in. Very friendly staff that helped out with whatever we needed. Very yummy food with a beautiful courtyard in the back to view. And HOT WATER! What a find, an oasis.

I spent a week with Said and Mohamed though I had only intended to stay there for one night. They are an amazing family with an incredible knowledge of the area. I will be back. This is my piece for the Sunday Times in Ireland on travelling in Morocco and meeting Said. It has photos and videos of my time... More

It is a marvellous clean place. On the main road between Errachidia and Aoufouss..it is quite and romantic because behind the house there is the astonishing palm tree forest of the valley. The food is great, breakfast and dinner. Spacious rooms have really HOT water and air conditioning (..it is not so easy in Morocco). It is not so cheap... More
