Disgraceful Business Ethics Château de la Marine This review has been put off for some time as I wished to write an ethical report about the poorest treatment I have experienced from a hotel in my life .. For those of you that have ever put in order a traveling campaign which entails the assistance of other contributors, including hotels,... More

Wonderful weekend away at this gorgeous little walled chateau. Relaxed and helpful hosts. Great location about 10 mins from both Boulogne and Wimeraux on the coast. Fabulous quiet beaches if you look for them. As for the seafood..........

Wife & I were on a short motoring break - two days in St valery-sur-somme then an overnight here, really nice Chateau, splendid room & view, we were a bit rushed so we missed breakfast next day but it looked good. Guy was very helpful & drove us down to the Petite Brocante restaurant in the local village in the... More

I had always wanted to stay at a chateau. We failed last time because the once we tried were on the Loire and for us, were prohibitively expensive. When I booked this I was pretty excited because the pictures made it look pretty special, however I have been travelling long enough to know how deceptive hotel pictures can be. in... More

This charming house, high on a hill behind Wimereux, is run by a lovely French couple, aided by their three adult sons. Our room, overlooking the garden, was comfortable and had everything we needed, including coffee making machine. We were made very welcome. Breakfast was good.

Like others here, we only stayed one night the first time.. but we will definitely be returning. This is such a charming place, with the most charming hosts one could hope for. The rooms are huge and very well appointed. One or two have a rather distant and partial sea view but that's better than none. The night we stayed... More

What a wonderful experience staying in this marvellous chateau is! We were met by Guy - the owner - who showed us to our beautiful rooms. One with a balcony and a sea view. The chateau is a grand 19th century residence. The chapel is now the house's kitchen. Being a Friday night Guy and Catherine cooked a delicious meal... More

We only stayed one night at this hotel but wish it had been longer. We certainly intend to return. The hotel is set in its own grounds with a coded gate. It only has four rooms but they are all well furnished to a high standard. We were greeted warmly by Guy (who speaks perfect English), who runs it with... More

Delightful French chateau set in beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. Breakfast consists of selection of cereals, dried and fresh fruit, crossiants, pain au chocolat, freshly baked bread, cheese etc...lovely! Our hosts Guy and Catherine were very welcoming and Guy was kind enough to drive us to Boulogne to collect our hire car. Would thoroughly recommend this... More
