We don't usually write comments on sites for breaks or hotels, but feel the need to write this one for Brunston Castle, especially in light of some of the (unnecessarily) negative reviews. Excellent accommodation that has recently been refurbished. The site is remote and quiet, and just what the doctor ordered. The reception area is shortly to be renovated and redesigned, and incorporates swimming pool and gym etc. As far as children are concerned, there are swings and slides etc,.. maybe there could be more? The staff are more than helpful and...

We had a lovely stay here just for a short break (Monday to Friday). The grounds and settings are really nice. We went out of season so were unable to use the bar and restaurant facilities at the Golf Club but we were aware of this before we travelled. There is a pool and sauna that we did not make...

Brunston Castle is hidden away in the countryside by the village of Daily and a few minutes drive from the coast. Peaceful resort on a hillside with well equipped units and leisure facilities. Close by to Culzean castle and nearest town of Ayr

Enjoyed a lovely relaxing week at Brunston Castle. The resort was quiet and peaceful. The lodge was clean and comfortable. We used the pool which we virtually had to ourselves. Our visit was at the beginning of February so Weather was mixed.

Lovely resort with great views & a good area to explore. Lodge was exceptionally clean & recently been upgraded with new furniture & furnishings, & redecorated throughout. Very comfortable. Bar/ restaurant was closed whilst we were there so can not comment on food. A co-op in Dailly village was well stocked & large Asda in Girvan
