No Castle! But the accommodation is lovely, the views are stunning and the staff super friendly. The golf course next door is very good and my husband and his two friends disappeared quite happily for a few hours while we ladies swam and had a sauna.

Hi liznickels Great to read you found your accommodation to be lovely and all the staff super friendly. I would agree there is stunning views all around the resort. Brunston Castle ruin can be seen in the centre of Brunston Golf Course, perhaps your husband and friends managed to view while playing golf. We would all be very pleased to...

Excellent staff, very respectful and helpful. The leisure facilities are not the best in terms of mixed changing rooms, no jacuzzi and steam room and fitness center. But overall, very peaceful. There is no regular housekeeping intrusion. We loved that as it offers comfortable, peace of mind and very relaxing.

We enjoyed a four night midweek break with our 2 young children. Despite mixed weather we had 2 very successful day trips to Heads of Ayr Farm Park and Culzean castle. The adventure playground at Culzean is superb. We also had a nice day pottering about the estate using the pool, park and restaurant. All staff were very welcoming and...

The lodge was great , very clean and obviously recently refurbed. We couldnt cope with the site being like a ghost town, no coffee in main building where the wifi is only available. No landscaping to make it look nice, The area of Girvan and Maybole is depressed, no good restaurants only cheap takeaways or fish and chips. Not for...

We don't usually write comments on sites for breaks or hotels, but feel the need to write this one for Brunston Castle, especially in light of some of the (unnecessarily) negative reviews. We have been visiting this location for number of years and love it. It is quiet, the accommodation is spacious and clean, the location is beautiful and the...

Excellent accommodation that has recently been refurbished. The site is remote and quiet, and just what the doctor ordered. The reception area is shortly to be renovated and redesigned, and incorporates swimming pool and gym etc. As far as children are concerned, there are swings and slides etc,.. maybe there could be more? The staff are more than helpful and...

We had a lovely stay here just for a short break (Monday to Friday). The grounds and settings are really nice. We went out of season so were unable to use the bar and restaurant facilities at the Golf Club but we were aware of this before we travelled. There is a pool and sauna that we did not make...

Brunston Castle is hidden away in the countryside by the village of Daily and a few minutes drive from the coast. Peaceful resort on a hillside with well equipped units and leisure facilities. Close by to Culzean castle and nearest town of Ayr
