Once again a visit to Brunston. I am beginning to think this must be our second home. We were in a Lodge near the top of the hill, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The Dine restaurant was open on this visit, great food, reasonably priced. The refurbishment of the reception area did not cause a problem for us and we...

We swopped our timeshare for this property. It's very out of the way ideal for keen walkers you absolutely need a car. We didn't stay the whole week as frankly we found the lack of evening facilities to be boring. Chalet lovely our bed was rock hard though. For a quiet break ideal but not for us.

The cottages are lovely with good heating, dishwashers, large fridge. The view was beautiful especially in May when trees were in bloom and wildflowers were everywhere. It would've been more convenient to have wi-fi at the cottage. The staff at reception was especially friendly and helpful. Great playground and pool.

Hi Taffy, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent stay at Brunston Castle. I would agree the area surrounding the resort is fantastic for both scenery and wildlife. Guests are frequently joined by deer, pheasants and hares especially in the morning sun around the resort. All staff appreciate your kind comments and are always on hand to help...

Our lodge was spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable soft furnishings. We felt very cosy there and happy with our choice. The location is very good for exploring the beautiful coastline and gardens nearby. There were a couple of little niggles - I've slept in more comfortable beds, for example - but overall nothing that took the gloss off...

Stayed at Brunston Castle in the Little Birch Cottage with my husband, mother & father in-law. We were there from the 6-13 May. The weather could not have been better, and since we had the car we were out most days travelling around Ayrshire. The lodge itself was lovely with 3 good size bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, one bathroom...

Hi rosemary, Good to read you had a really enjoyable time in one of the privately owned cottages at Brunston Castle. I would agree a car is essential for exploring the area as the resort is in a very beautiful but rural part of South Ayrshire. We would hope welcome you back to the resort very soon.

We arrived to find our 4 bedroom Turberry house was more akin to a youth hostel, but without the youth hostel prices. We were in No.20. I immediately phoned reception to check we were in the right property, as not only was it nothing like the pictures on the website, but it was also freezing cold (more about the heating...

This was our 4th visit to this resort. Our intention was to do some walking and to enjoy the local wildlife. The River Girvan runs close to Brunston Castle and the golf course. Ideal for our needs. There are plenty of other opportunities to walk in the South Ayrshire countryside. Girvan is only 6 miles away. There you will find...

“My husband and I should've taken the bedroom next to the main bathroom as it had two twin beds pushed together and let our grown daughter have the double bed with the en suite bathroom. Stop in Girvan for groceries at Asda and then you can pick up one or two things as needed in Dailly which is very close.”
