First impressions count and unfortunately the gentleman who booked us in was not very communicative. Basically gave us the key pointed the way to the room and seemed more interested in serving some locals in the bar. This attitude continued when we went down for a drink, we did not feel very welcome. we had booked in for a meal...

Excellent food and service and highly recommend. Can be noisy if eating in the bar but the general ambience was good. Young gentleman serving us was very polite and courteous and nothing too much trouble. Location is good and easy to find.

Booked for a family lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful meal, the food was very well cooked and presented. Sweets were very nice as well. Staff were exceptionally professional and very friendly which made for a lovely afternoon in very pleasant surroundings. Thank you for a lovely experience.

I booked this restaurant for a Christmas meal for 28 people. The restaurant had been recommended to me by friends who had been there before. There was an excellent choice of menu which was e mailed to me to preorder. The e mail response was quick and efficient. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent and I...

Excellent tasty food, well cooked, hot plates, friendly helpful service. Cosy and inviting we received a warm welcome here on our first visit and we are already planning another., My venison was perfectly cooked and my wifes risotto was full og mushrooms. French onion soup was amongbthe best I have ever had.

We found The Coach House on a wet and windy October evening when hoping to find somewhere good to eat. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was closed, presumably for lack of customers though I can't imagine why. The friendly barman said we could eat in the pub which was cosy and had an excellent atmosphere. We were the only...

Very comfortable rooms which were quite spacious and well equipt. We ate both nights at the coach house and were very impressed with the choice and quality. The only negative was breakfast we were expecting a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurts but disappointed to find only cereals were offered before the cooked breakfast which was cooked fresh to...

Visited The Coach House Inn at lunchtime on Thursday. We were given a warm welcome as was our dog.We chose to sit in the small outdoor area to the rear but the interior is very cosy.We were amazed to discover we were the only customers during our whole hour and a half visit. It is obviously a successful hotel as they...
