You MUST come to Casata Del Bosco. If you are anywhere near the area, you should plan a night or a few in this marvelous place. The cabinas are picturesque and have a 180 degree view of the rainforest that you sleep in. It is easy to get to and the walk to the botanic gardens is only about 5...

Cascata del Bosco has been one of the best lodging experiences for me, my girlfriend and the friends that joined us on this trip (all Costa Ricans who travel extensively). This is truly a "zen" place, beautiful gardens, comfortable and nice cabins, tasty "homemade" food, but above all you feel the care and desire of its owners to make you...

Beautiful grounds and excellent cabin with top facilities. Owners were brilliant and looked after us when we were feeling under the weather. Easy walk to Wilsons Botanical Gardens. The food in the restaurant was good quality and many dishes were cooked outside on a barbeque.

We stayed here for a couple of nights on November 4th & 5th, we took a few walks through the numerous trails surrounding the hotel which was quite relaxing, the accommodations were clean, very comfortable and we never found a reason to go to another restaurant as the food here is great. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and...

A one of a kind place right near the wilson botanical garden. Clean and neat large rooms with panoramic treetop vistas. Beautiful tile art inside and around the property. The cabinas include small kitchen microwave coffee pot refer and hot water. Food was excellent and the guest cats visiting you gives the place a friendly atmosphere.

George, the owner, was great in helping with transportation. The hotel is beautiful and a great place to go. We were in the farthest cabana so internet was non existent but I still recommend this hotel for a few days of rest. The Wilson botanical gardens is within walking distance and worth visiting.

We recently checked out Cascata for a group birding trip next year. What a find!! Just look at the photos of the rooms and grounds... all the cabins are beautifully appointed, with kitchenettes in them, and more beautiful than places we have stayed here in Costa RIca that cost three times as much! The hotel and restaurant are owned and...

We prefer to stay in independently run accommodations instead of corporate chains, so Cascata Del Bosco fit the bill for our visa run. As many other reviewers agree, the roomy cabins and jungle views make this a unique find. But if anything stands out about this place it's the people. The proprietor, George and his sidekick, Werner, were always there...

Since Panama has decided we need to stay out 3 days when we leave, we decided to make the most of it and stay at Cascata del Bosco. Up away from the town of San Vito, the cabins are private, spacious, unique and comfortable, with a huge deck and comfy chairs for reading. The sounds of the jungle are pretty...

We have stayed at Cascata Del Bosco 3 times now and positively love it. The cabinas are creatively designed with interesting tile work in the bathrooms. The owner designed them himself! They are also quite private. The community area where you have breakfast in the mornings is also a fun area to hang out. It has a large open air...

Cascata Del Bosco is a new (March 2013) 4 cabin hotel in San Vito Costa Rica. We are situated on 37 acres, mostly forest and trails and are a 5 minute walk from the famous Wilson Botanical Gardens. Each cabin is unique and carefully equipped with locally built furniture, a queen bed and some with a day bed/sofa as well. The views from each cabin are fantastic and each cabin has a private balcony. Cabins are equipped with a kitchenette, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, stovetop, SKY TV, and full bathroom with HOT showers. WiFi is free. We have a full restaurant and bar on site full of local art. One of the co-owners George lives on site and is a wealth of information about the area and things to do.
