This place is cute enough but the rooms have absolutely no view and ours was super small!! Best view is from the tiny window in tiny bathroom. Staff very nice and I think high reviews from the complimentary beer and wine at happy hour. Check out my picture of the breakfast sandwich. Bed was really good, best thing about the place. That picture online of fireplace, where is that, as asked about upgrade at check in, and told all rooms the same. Very disappointed, as wanted to watch snow from a window. Obviously with Covid, hot tub and such not open, but they could clean up walks and areas.
If I could live here I would. The room is comfortable and clean and modern. We had a fireplace in our room which had a king bed. Every morning was a good breakfast, and evenings there was a social time with complimentary beer, wine, soda and appetizer. The cafe is small but seats at least 18 people and is the perfect size for meeting and visiting with the other guests and staff. Great way to relax. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to the beach and the casinos and shopping. The staff here is top notch and you can tell they love working here. Joseph was a delight to talk with as was every other person we came in contact with. Micah is a superb baker so breakfast muffins and bread were delicious and fresh. This staff makes you feel like you’re pampered for sure.
We reserved through their web site and got an extra discount. The service was excellent. Chad and Cas went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. They were totally prepared for COVID. The price included breakfast which was served hot in a picnic basket. It was tasty and big enough. It also included a reception in the afternoon with al the drinks and chips you wanted. They turned the fire pit and warmers for us. They encouraged social distancing , but guests were friendly and we had a great time. The Inn is located about a block down the road from the beach. They also provide beach towels and beach chairs. There is a bicycle rental near by as well as restaurants and shops. All within walking distance. Definitely a place worth returning!
Great spot, quiet, amazing staff - Chad, Chaz - and the owners Mark and Deb are absolutely arms wide open welcoming. Loved the picnic basket breakfast, happy hour each night and the overall vibe. Rooms are cozy and not a lot of room to spread out. But everything you need is in the rooms.
my husband and i booked a 3-night stay at 7 seas for september of 2020 as the first leg of a 2 week west coast hiking trip. little did we know that trip would be derailed by a historic wildfire season. when we arrived in a totally smoke-strangled tahoe (and saw the forecasted smoke and evacuation orders for our next destinations up the west coast) we knew we needed to change course to salvage our trip. the staff at 7 seas made that incredibly easy! we stayed one night, and we were able to get refunded for the other two after we decided to leave tahoe for a less smoky destination. 7 seas was super helpful and flexible, AND our one-night stay was perfect. the rooms are comfortable and modern, the staff is wonderful, and the location is perfect. the outdoor patio is beautiful and we were looking forward to enjoying the daily happy hour social! we will be back when we visit tahoe under better circumstances and we’ll definitely stay at 7 seas! …
