This is a very quiet and relaxing place in a nice setting. We stayed here for almost 2 weeks in October 2014. We were looking for a peaceful and quiet place on Cyprus away from the mass tourism but not too far from the sea and some restaurants. Modus Vivendi consists of a few very cozy houses around a very...

We stayed in the upstairs Loulaki for over a week and had a very quiet, restful stay. Loulaki is across the small lane from the main complex with pool, which was nice because it was more private. We had a big bedroom with a nice living room and bathroom with kitchenette-- it was a much larger and nicer space than...

After driving through a semi- industrial area with scattered villas we came to Psematismenos. A quiet picturesque village on a small hill, cobbled streets, with some buildings under renovation and a few part-abandoned. Modus Vivendi is a good base if want to travel around Cyprus by car. Beautifully and stylishly renovated , peaceful and quiet. The rooms are set in a...

The appartment was a perfect blend of traditional and modern, and having our own private courtyard for breakfast each morning was a nice luxury. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, with plenty of shade and a cool breeze comimg up from the coast. The only 2...

We could search for a nice place in Cyprus only 3 days ahead - and found the most beautiful one, the best holiday dwelling we ever had. Everything is built and furnished intelligently with good taste and sense and respect for the material, for nature and the surrounding history. So one likes to handle these precious things with care. Please...

I stayed here in March and found the location to be beautiful in the small village of Psematismenos. It is in a very hilly area and there are many steps to navigate and cobbled streets which adds to the rustic experience. The owner did come and say hello when I requested for a hairdryer (as it isn't provided) and even...

“We loved the Loulaki upstairs. Lots of space inside and a nice balcony to sit on, and more private than the rooms by the pool.”
