Lovely converted convent, quiet location, beautiful grounds and basic Continental breakfast. No air-conditioning but a fan is provided. Lovely breeze through the open window made using it unnecessary.

We were able to get a last minute cancellation on during the Civic long weekend. Although it's a nice heritage building the rooms need an upgrade. The fire alarm went off every 2 hrs. We were told it was due to a faulty system and it happens all the time. Very disappointing. The beds were not very comfortable and the...

Although it looks a bit foreboding, like a setting for The Woman in Black, the Heritage Inn is a fine place to spend a night. Everything worked and the bed was great. Except for a musty smell, the room was clean. For a building nearly a century and a half old, a little must is forgivable. Kudos to the owners...

Visited the end of June. Shirley, the owner, and her staff are very welcoming. The Inn, a former Convent, has lots of character – but has lost some of it due to renovations required for fire safety - which is a shame. We were the only ones staying the night and as the owner does not live off site we...

We choose the Heritage Inn for our stay in Tignish. Rooms are not the cleanest, but not bad. Also the Inn is a little outdated. But the Value is great. We had only a Continental Breakfast which I do not like, but it was a great choice of items. But the greatest Asset the Inn has is their staff. Friendly...

I was hired as a photographer to shoot a wedding here and we had such an awesome time. The grounds are so nice with old trees and flowers everywhere. The building has been recently renovated and were really impressed with the rooms as well the interior has that classic charm which gives a great ambiance. They served a cold breakfast...

Tignish Heritage Inn and Gardens, a restored convent on the western end of PEI, was the starting point for my family's (wife and 2 teenage daughters) tip-to-tip cycling adventure of PEI. We stayed here for one night in 2 rooms on the second floor. The rooms were rather large with high ceilings and were quiet save for the window fans...

In the shadow of an impressive catholic church at the northwestern tip of Prince Edward Island lies this wonderful, unpretentious Inn and Gardens: once a convent, now a serene and friendly place to stay on a tour of the western side of PEI. Our room on the first floor (no, 2) was clean, comfortable, and quiet... with high ceilings and directly...
