Arrived to find a fab experience, 5 star facility with the feminine touch! This is a B&B so don't confuse with a hotel, but value was excellent! Team running the place could not have been more helpful. Worth going back again. Very close to Ripon, the Dales and towns like Marsham and Pateley Bridge.

There is nothing I can add to the glowing reviews below but I have the need to add my five stars to the list. The Old Coach House is blissful. Superb accommodation in an achingly pretty village full of lovely houses, village greens and ponds. The ladies who run it are such good hosts who clearly care for the guests...

We had a lovely stay, in high quality, comfortable, homely surroundings. A lovely hamlet in Northumberland, with access to beautiful countryside, walks, and a footpath at the end of the lane. Located conveniently for Hadrians Wall, Housesteads, Steelrigs, Vindolanda. The major castles of Lindisfarne, Alnwick and Bamburgh within a reasonable drive. We had a great day trip to the Farne...

Booked a night away and stumbled across this little beauty! Arrived early evening and met by a very helpful lady who showed us to our very comfortable ground floor room. Had a lovely meal in a recommended local hostelry and then retired to our room. Such a lovely meal we couldn't even manage our home made biscuits left in room...

Stayed two nights in early May. First class room, clean, quiet and very well appointed. The staff were very helpful with "glowing" personalities. The quality of the breakfasts could never be surpassed. An excellent base for visiting Wensleydale and very handy when stopping off for a longer trip North. Highly recomended.

Difficult to find anything different to write about this beautiful hidden gem. Second visit and standards are as high as ever. There's a real feel of luxury that you don't get staying in a hotel sometimes and a lot of thought has gone into providing the little extras. Very clean and comfortable and a delicious cooked breakfast to start the...

We stayed here last weekend and loved everything about it; from the tranquil and picturesque gardens to the attention to detail in the bedroom. The room itself was spotless and loved the small touches like the fresh milk in the fridge and the homemade biscuits. The ladies that run the place are lovely and will do what they can for...

Very well appointed accommodation, tastefully decorated, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too. Friendly and helpful staff who advised us regarding evening meals and we were very happy with the two local pubs they recommended. A great place to stay for a short break. The Old Coach House is situated in close to Fountains Abbey and Hackfall forest, both worth...

Stayed here as part of the Way of the Roses cycle tour; slightly off the route, but navigated over Dalowgill Moor. Great customer service, outstanding facilties and wonderful food. The team running the place (Amy as front of house) are top class.

It's hard finding something new to say about this amazing place as having read quite a few reviews, they cover it all. This is one of, if not the best place we have ever had the pleasure of staying in North Yorkshire. It really has the WOW factor. It is stunningly beautiful and everything about it screams quality and charm....
