Just a one night stay . We were early after a warm welcome we were given our room even though we were early. As we were going to eat at a function else where we had sandwich and tea in restaurant. The sandwich was tasty and served by friendly staff. Returning our function we spent most of the evening in...

We stopped off for lunch here and had a lovely meal at very reasonable prices. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the Steak and Ale pie was particularly good. Good range of draft beers always helps! Service was friendly and efficient.

Had an amazing time here! A family party took place in the function room upstairs. The hot buffet was beautiful and everyone went back for seconds! Bar slightly expensive but staff very very friendly. Good night all round!

Clean and nice sized rooms, really helpful staff and amazing value. Will certainly be staying here again. For the price, I didn't expect a room with a view - so it was a real treat to open the curtains and see horses grazing a few feet away.

Plenty of space in our room, overlooking the fields, food in the pub was good and the staff are lovely, will stay again when going over that way. Breakfast was busy and could've used an extra person to help clear tables but overall a great place for a...

We stayed here for just 1 night over the Easter weekend. Room was small but very comfortable, really good nights sleep. Bar was good, nice Estella on draught. Food was excellent, we both had mussels to start followed by fillet steak that wasn't on the menu but the waiter mentioned he had some and was very good. He wasn't wrong,...

We upgraded our original booking but at first we're given a standard room. Once we had changed this to a gold room we thought that would be ok. However it seems the hotel has recently been taken over and the standard of decor leaves much to be desired. The paper was peeling off the walls and the sink was dangerously...

We spent a night here on a bike journey between Liverpool and Leeds 10 of us. The staff were helpful and very accommodating. Our bikes were secured overnight and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Rooms were clean and tidy and did I mention the food? Will definitely go there again.

Came here for a meal after a long drive in the country, lovely meal and excellent staff, we were made to feel extremely welcome. One of the friendliest places we have been to and its dog friendly to. :)
