Stayed here for one night for a wedding held nearby so we didn't spend much time at the hotel. Everything was great though. The room was a good size and clean with an incredibly comfortable (very soft) bed meaning we both had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice and they did a vegetarian cooked breakfast...

I loved this place! Sure, it's a little run down in parts, could do with a fresh lick of paint and some new carpets but the atmosphere was one of peace, quiet and relaxation. We had a lovely room with french windows out onto a patio and the mattresses were the softest and most comfortable I have slept on. We...

I always try to review places based upon how they present themselves. For instance it would be unfair to give a 2* star hotel a bad review because it was a bit run down or to criticise a B&B for not doing room service. Flackley Ash is a 3* hotel & spa with restaurant attached/incorporated and we booked on a...

We have just returned from a 3 night break here and have to say cannot fault it. A loverly hotel that is relaxing and quiet. We had sandwiches in the bar for lunch and dinner in the restaurant in the evenings, Which was lovely not having to drive. The staff were helpful and friendly as usual. We look forward to...

We stayed here for a Friday night, en route to East Sussex. we had a drink in the large lounge area and then decided to eat in the conservatory, which is light and airy. They were plenty of other people who had chosen to eat there, including a very large table of several families with children. So often in restaurants...

Just returned from a 4 night walking break with a group of 33 friends which I organised. From the moment I contacted the hotel by telephone and spoke to the Manager, Penny,I was made to feel that our booking was important. Beautiful spacious rooms, very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Food was excellent with beautifully laid tables...

My wife booked lunch at this hotel because they use local produce and it looked a really nice place to take family for lunch. Disappointing when we entered, everything looked tired, the carpet was dirty in places, the bar/dining room was empty apart from someone with a dog that was barking in reception. We had drinks in the bar then...

I only use the spa so can't comment on rooms but spa is very clean and well kept. Changing rooms and showers are always kept clean. Towel hire if needed. Everything is mixed except the saunas. Would recommend.
