If you enjoy plush bedding, serene grapes ripening outside your door, and two delightful hosts....you will thoroughly enjoy Pine Hill Lodge. Located near Ruby Bay, Pine Hill Lodge is a perfect hub for a lot of exploring on the North side of the South Island of New Zealand. Jeanette and Paul are so helpful, way beyond what might be expected...

Thank you so much for the very lovely review! We started this B&B from scratch with an aim to provide a comfortable place for our guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of this region. It is very re-assuring to know that we have been able to do that for you. Take care and hope to see you when you...

This is a great place to stay. It is convenient, very serene, and very relaxing. The hosts could not be more pleasant. They work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. We were with another couple and used the common room for breakfast and afternoon cocktail hour. It was cool and rainy so the lovely gardens were not an option....

We recently spent three lovely days in Pine Hill Lodge, what a wonderful place! The location is very convenient to explore the area, the scenery is just delightful, the room was very clean, the bed was comfy... But the best was the hosts - so welcoming and hospitable. Thank you very much for the lovely experience.

Thank you so much for the lovely review and sharing all those amazing photos you took during your stay! You are amazing in capturing the various expressions of Truffle and Bacchus. Those photos you sent me were the best photos that I have on the 'boys'. We have certainly enjoyed hosting you and hope to see you again when you...

We were welcomed very cordially by Jeanette, one of the owners of the lodge. The lodge itself is located near Ruby Bay on a working vineyard. The room we had was nice but very sparsely decorated, in fact the only item on the wall was a tv screen, nothing else. Didn't feel warm. But the most annoying thing was the...

Thank you very much for taking time out to write the review. We have indeed adopted a clean/tidy/minimalist approach in the decoration of our rooms rather than the traditional country cottage style with loads of details. We understand the importance of showing our potential guests what they can expect to see and get in our place when they choose their...

Oh what an amazing B&B! Modern luxury in every corner of the home that is surrounded by beautiful vineyards. I stayed two nights in Mapua, host Jeanette and Paul made me feel at home from the moment I arrived, loved staying here. Stunning views over the vineyards and the Tasman Sea, comfy beds and areas to relax. I highly recommend...

Thank you so much for your lovely review and sharing those great photos, Ivonne. Sorry I missed you at check out as I had to take our two 'boys' to daycare that morning. Nelson was our first stop on our 10 day road trip to the South Island and Pine Hill Lodge doesn't disappoint. It's situated in a vineyard (what more can you ask for) and the hosts Jeannette and Paul Chik are so gracious and attentive. Who doesn't want to wake up in a vineyard? Their 2 beautiful dogs are an added...

Beautiful and absolute quiet location in the middle of the vineyards, awesome breakfasts (pancakes, French toast, ...), wonderful hosts and two friendly dogs. It was fun to pick different lettuce varieties from the vegetable garden (a pity the fruit wasn't ready to pick). We hope to return one day.

Thank you very much for your lovely review! It has been one of our goals to grow vegetables for our guests to pick to compliment their meals while appreciating the serenity in the vineyard. We have already tried a few years but this is only the first year that we manage to have something to be picked at the right...

I stayed with a friend at Pine HIll Lodge in December '16 and it couldn't have been lovelier! We moved out of our hotel in Nelson in search of a place that would be closer to Kaiteriteri beach and wine tasting. Pine Hill Lodge far exceeded our expectations. The setting is beautiful, the rooms are clean and modern and very...

With views that ooze romance, this working vineyard for our honeymoon , which looks out to sea, was a treat made even sweeter with surprise cherries from a local orchard, home baking and luxuriant breakfasts swiftly devoured.
