The Best in many ways. Very interesting natural afrikan houses, small or enough big for family, for all pockets. Food is very good, they cooking afrikan and European food (Slovenian specialities. ..). One of the most beautiful beach what I seen in Africa, is just 5 min.walk away.

From the minute you turn down the driveway to the gate of Barbara's, you know your in for something special. The staff make a warm effort to great your party every time you enter the grounds. The setting is peaceful and the accommodations mimic the style of huts you would see out in the various communities. A great introduction to...

Barbara's Village gives travellers an authentic Ghanaian experience to really experience their way of living while still having the little luxuries travellers expect. The staff are so friendly and this accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle. Set in lush gardens and a short walk to quiet beaches, Barbara's Village is welcoming and the food is superb! We had...

I found Barbara's village by accident and I'm very happy that the hotel where I wanted to stay lost my reservation! This is not just a hotel, but very welcoming place - home far away.I had a chance to meet all these amazing people and enjoy the hospitality, which is a mixture between African and European culture. The rooms are...

The place have a nice and peacefull atmosphere to relax some days. I stayed in the Ashanti house, a spacious selfcontained room. The standing ventilator was not very effective and the room should have a ceiling ventilator. The food was well prepared ,delicious and good value for the price we paid, just not all of the menu was available.

I felt like a guest at home! The place is so nice, the garden, the rooms, the bar, the eating area. The stuff is absolutely friendly! Shower, toilet and everything is clean and good. The food and cafe is phantastic. The way to the beach is really short, guess 3 minutes. But the best is, that you feel free there,...

Running away from the noisy areas of Accra Central, i found the Village to hide: with peaceful atmosphere, fresh air and cleaner environment. The food was good, the room was clean and the staff very helpful.Above all good music where available. If someone needs...

After reading the reviews of this place, I had nice expectations. Unfortunately the place didn't live up to them. We stayed in one of the Ashanti houses, there were serious problems in the bathroom, the toilet was nearly flooding with excrements several times, the first time one of the employees solved the problem, the second time my boyfriend had to...

Unfortunately Yzabelletje actually had a bad experience . Of course it does not mean our toilets are flooded all the time, or that we do not have running water most of the time… Truthfully it can happen from time to time that water runs out in our main water tank even though we try our best to prevent it. In...
