Asia Spa Resort; the best hotel in Dharamshala and top resort in Mcleodganj, is located at the foothills of the village Naddi and near the sacred Dal Lake. It features 25 well-appointed accommodations, including 2 junior suites with terrace, 2 two bedroom family suites with terrace, 1 quadruple room with private balcony and 20 well-appointed super deluxe rooms with private balconies. This luxury hotel in Dharamshala is renowned for its impeccable service and serene ambiance, making it the ideal choice for a honeymoon in Dharamshala.
We were two couples, looking for 4 nights in a serene and quiet location, with good views, some peace, and something which does not dent the bank balance too much. I can safely say, we got many times more than what we had hoped for. Rooms are well sized, and were provided clean linen, full size windows individual balconies, terrace, and more. Team is super courteous, led my Mr. Harnam Singh who provided the most personalized care I have ever experienced in recent times. Because of the cold weather, we did not try any spa or pool facilities (claimed to be temperature controlled!), but the most pleasant surprise was the food. It was perfect in every sense. To start with, it tasted fresh, just rightly cooked, and never too spicy or overdone. Of the two dinners and the four breakfasts we had, not one item was off the expectation. Menu was a decent mix for both, the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians. Bar menu is well priced too. For a beer guy like me, a 650ml KF costing 350/- served in a beautiful lounge with fire in the fire place and Bose speakers playing soulful music……..couldn’t have asked for more. Talking about the not so good experience, not that there were many. But I was slightly put off by the non-functional exhaust of bathroom in my room. Service crew stated that it was working, even though I knew it wasn’t. Hotel is slightly dated and the frequent upgrades over the years, which it must have undergone, cannot hide this fact. Final tip…….always book with the breakfast. One, it is super good. Two, you will not find many options nearby. Secondly, always book for the valley view. The view is to die for. To summarize, highly recommended for visitors who are looking for a peaceful experience, good service and food, within a reasonable tariffs.

Hotel has a great view & comfortable restaurant area , upscale lounge with a fireplace important as we stayed here during the cooler weather and only the rooms are heated . There is large patio off the lounge also, food very good compliments to the chef . The staff are excellent friendly and the service is also. Not sure why it is called a health resort a pool and spa are pretty normal now days but possibly not in Dharmshala. WIFI charges first day free one device is out date in today’s market a did express this to the manager and he was very gracious and indicated it would be discussed.

Be in Asia health resort means leave the worries. Because once you entered the location you feel start mesmerizing for its environment surrounding as well as the rooms. A well trained staff makes the hotel more valuable with it's service. Good quality food with lot's of choice and super duper buffet they have with large sitting capacity. Hotel have Beautiful views from exterior you can see beautiful Dharamshala and airport from the hotel. And most important thing if you want be meditated must choose "ASIA HEALTH RESORT" The surrounding and fresh air makes you more comfortable and your tour will be go easier. 😊😊😊😊 I really feel very much happy to be there. Stayed there for 5 days because booking was non refundable.
Power went off and there was no back up for 3hrs. Power cut was daily routine and Owner persisted that we are in Himachal so we have to understand this.
Daily we were asked to step out of room for cleaning because of covid but all stewards were roaming around without masks.
There are only twin mattress which will make your nights even worse.
Even pool is open for outsiders. Recreational activities are chargeable Torn umbrellas No lift
Hotel owners are trying their best to reach their breakeven with limited facilities.

We were here for 2 nights with a group of 54 guests from the Rotary Club. This hotel is not in at least 7-8 km out of Dharamshala and getting here is a task due to the narrow roads and a lot of traffic. But the good part is it's at an altitude higher than Dharamshala away from the Hustle Bustle and much cooler than Dharamshala.
The rooms are nice and spacious and most of the rooms have a breath taking valleyview. The toilateries are complete with a dental and shaving kit. This hotel doesn't have a lift so be ready for a flight of stairs, the staff gets all your luggage to the room. Note that most of the hotels are built in the valley, meaning the top floor is at the road or ground level. The restaurant serves a decent buffet spread. Food is good and tasty. There is a delay in replenishing the food items which are. Room service is comparatively very slow and the team needs to be trained better to handle customer requests. We very frequently had our group members complaining about it. They have a good play area for the kids, a swimming pool and a Salon and Spa. Pool though being temperature controlled is very cold and the Spa slots gets filled very fast. What I loved about this hotel is that you can move out for walks and it will take you on very beautiful winding roads and more importantly you can get beautiful view of the Himalayas a site that makes you freeze. If you take the walkways that the locals use you will find yourselves pass through people's courtyards, cowsheds and farms. Beautiful view. I would most definitely come back here.

I stayed 2 days in Asia Health Resorts & Spa during my trip to Dharmashala. I loved the way it provides facilities like Spa, steam bath and heated swimming pool. No one can feel annoying with the chilling atmosphere outside. The best part of this service is that the price is reasonable and comparatively low than spa saloons in metros. Highly recommended!

I was in Asia Health Resorts & Spa for a few days during my trip to Dharamshala and experienced highly satisfied arrangements made by the hotel authorities. From the temperature-controlled pool to relaxing super deluxe rooms with private balconies, all these arrangements are best to enjoy quality time watching the natural view of the Kangra valley. Dear All I have just completed three nights and four days stay at this property and I am more than satisfied with my choice of this property. Three names needs to be mentioned who looked after us so overwhelmingly. A) Mr Deepak, The property Manager who since the date of my booking was always available to ensure that my stay was wonderful. It was indeed both economical and good value for money. More than satisfied with his friendly services. B) Another two persons who actually looked after us during the evening hours when we came back from the sight seeing Mr Arjun Mr Harnam. We used to sit in the lounge and keep ourselves busy with our food and beverage activities. Had it not been for their excellent services and hospitality our evenings would have been a dull evening. These two persons really knows how to take care of us, unknown visitors, to ensure we had a great time with their companionship. May God always bless them. When you are here look them up and your will not be disappointed.

Good hotel but rooms are done in a classic way with some wear & tear but quite spacious. The ones with balcony offer amazing view.Even their terrace has very good views. Services were good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating for whatever request you have and always greeted us with a smile especially Harnaam im dining and the staff behing the reception counter. Even the manager is friendly. Food i would say needs to improved a lot more & prices are quite high. Parking is available for 4cars, apart from that you can park on the road without any issue since it isnt a road that sees much traffic movement.

It’s the best resort for people travelling with their families , friends , business associates to Mcleodganj. This place is a paradise as it has “EVERYTHING” for people to have a nice calm and a relaxing holiday with one of the best views of The Himalayas.
Easily approachable from the Airport and other public transport points.
I would highly recommend Asia Health Resorts & Spa, if you are going to Mcleodganj.
