Booked at short notice for New Year's Eve. Place is spotless. Room was lovely with all accessories colour co-ordinated. Bed very comfortable. Water piping hot. Tea/coffee making facilities in room, TV and wi-fi. Breakfast was lovely with good choices of ingredients all freshly cooked. Molly & her husband are very friendly & helpful

Group of 3 friends stayed the night. Lovely place, very friendly and really clean and comfy. The lady there was lovely and I can't recommend the place highly enough. We would definitely stay there again, very homely feel about it.

Molly cares about guest convenience from the moment of arrival ensuring the limited parking accommodates all guests. From the moment I arrived I felt that I was being looked after. The room I had was clean and comfortable no let me repeat that exceptionally clean and comfortable Breakfast was great and I set off to work adequately refreshed

We stayed at Hillfield house over the recent bank holiday weekend with our 7 month old son. We were greeted by the owner who made us feel welcome. They had immaculate bedrooms. Our breakfasts were amazing- especially the sausages! They were there for us if we required anything as well as a general chat which made it even more welcoming....

Stayed with my 2 sons for the third time for the download music festival. Although the owner Molly can be very cold and unwelcoming its the nearest b and b we have found. Molly outdone herself this year for rudeness by ordering us at breakfast to pay for the 2 nights we had stayed and get out of our room...

Really nice B&B, very clean, comfy bed, good shower - what more could you ask for? Warm welcome from Alan and Molly and a great breakfast. We stayed in the village for a friends party and this was the perfect stopover

I stayed here with my 18 month old daughter and mother when whilst visiting my terminally ill grandmother. I have stayed in quite a few hotels with my daughter and this was (and still is) the first time I've been charged for a cot!!! Outrageous! This bed and breakfast is not prepared for babies or toddlers at all! No highchair...

Nothing was too much trouble for the great owners of this b&b, lovely place, very clean, really friendly, comfy rooms, free wifi and a great breakfast. Spot on. I even amended the booking to add a friend and this was no problem either.

Thank nickilin
