I had good email communication with the owner before the trip and booked in advance. The rooms themselves were ok and the view from the patio was lovely since the hotel sits on a hilltop. The one major caveat about the room itself is the bathroom. The wall in the bathroom does not go all the way to the ceiling,...

Unfortunately this accommodation was just ok, if not a little on the poor side. The biggest trouble was that the toilet didn't flush and we had to fill 3 bottles of water to flush the toilet. With 2 people in the room, it got a little smelly, especially because the bathroom door didn't close. That also let loads of mosquitoes...

When we arrived, we were left waiting for half an hour while our taxi driver (a friend of the owner) tried to sell us a tour at a ridiculous rate. When we were shown our room, we were told that there was a problem with the water, but it would be fixed after an hour. We stayed for two nights...

Located right next to Paradise Bar, this is a little off the beaten track in Labuan Bajo about 10 minutes uphill out of town. Stayed here 1 night after a liveaboard boat trip before flying out. Good enough location (walking downhill into town at least!) but does have its quirks. Staff was pretty laid back on check-in (not clear *where*...

This was a wonderful place to stay to Labuan Bajo. It is set up a hill about a 5 min. walk from town, and the view overlooking the harbour is fantastic. It is a small-family run place, and they make a delicious breakfast. The rooms were clean, only 200,000rp. It's not a luxury hotel, so don't bother if you're looking...

We Tried to get into the golo hill top hotel but it was full so we booked bagus bagus instead as its nearby and we thought we'd be able to walk to the golo hilltop and use their pool, but when we did this they said that the pool is for residents only. This meant that there's not much to...

I don't understand why everyone is raving about this place - it's located 10 min walk outside of main part of town, up a steep hill which is pitch black after 6pm which feels pretty dangerous at night both from scooters careering around the corners and people hanging around on the side of the road. The guy who dealt with...

We stayed at BB after all rooms at Hilltop were fully booked. And we could not have been luckier! The rooms are huge and extremely clean, the open air bathroom is very charming and two out of eight rooms even offer AirCon! An the best: we just paid 250'000 for an air con room which is an unbeatable price in...

At the end of 3 weeks travelling across the Island of Sumba and Flores, the Bagus Bagus Hotel in Labuan Bajo was shelter and comfort for the weary traveller, and a whole lot more. The room was simple, tasteful and very clean, and the view from our front door was resort worthy. The whole lot more came in the form...
