We stayed in the Sauvignon Blanc room which opens out onto a patio are overlooking the vines - wonderful to sit there with your early morning coffee or sun downer. The room is spacious and very tastefully decorated and the bathroom is vast with a wonderful power shower. You fill in the menu request everyday for your breakfast, which Christine... More

The accommodation on offer is of a very high standard and would be a good base for people touring the area. It is very quiet but not far from Nelson. We took the 'Pinot Noir' room and the facilities were excellent, however there is only a microwave so you wouldn't be able to attempt any serious cooking. The on-site shop... More

wonderful luxurious accommodation with a breath-taking view and position over-looking the vineyard. The guest rooms (there are only 2) are on one wing of the family home and provide everything you could need, together with a selection of the estate wines. We stayed 4 nights and thoroughly chilled. We also had a wonderful relaxed afternoon wine tasting at the cellar... More

This was a lovely retreat. It is nested in the vineyard of Millcrest wines. Which you can go and taste. The wine is lovely. Responsibily priced. The room was large and very clean. The owner was very attentive and the free breakfast was more than enough and delicious. Well worth a visit

We had three relaxing days with another couple at Milcrest. The owner Terry was very welcoming and the vineyard is set in a beautiful part of Hope just outside of Richmond. The rooms were lovely and very roomy. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the breakfast was delightful.

We had a very nice 2 night stay at Milcrest Estate in the Sauvignon suite. Very spacious suite with lovely furniture and a great bathroom. Lovely views across the vineyard. Chris was a great host - arranging a lovely platter, breakfast and wine tasting (very enjoyable wines). Roger the lab was very friendly too, coming along to check us out.... More

Milcrest estate was a wonderful getaway, with a beautiful setting amongst the vines, great breakfasts & really helpful hosts. We loved that we could just stroll down to the winery, have a glass or 4 of excellent wine, a delicious platter & then roll back to our room. We definitely recommend this place

A very special place to stay in a winery setting. Everything you could possibly want with scenery, sun, luxurious room and top quality fittings. Wine, breakfast and a divine platter made it even better. One night wasn't nearly long enough!

Great place to stay in sunny Nelson. My wife and I were there to celebrate our 2nd Wedding anniversary. Although we are not much into Wines, Milcrest had us get away with 2 bottles of Pinot :) Friendly hosts and prompt service. Would Definitely go again when we are in nelson next.

A great experience at the vineyard! We only stayed a night, but we enjoyed our evening run around the quiet area, the morning breakfast as well as the warm hospitality offered by the host. Highly recommended!
