ROOMS (PINOT NOIR) It’s two B&B rooms which are modern and comfortable, but I would not say luxurious. It's not a villa or anything more than that. The rooms connect to the main house. There is no sink or cooktop, nor cooking implements. There is a microwave jug and toaster. No laundry (apart from using the owners at a reasonable...

The room overlooks a beautiful vineyard and this can not be a more calm and relaxing environment. Perfect setting to be away from the city life and close enough to visit Abel Tasman for hiking and beaches. Topping of the great setting is breakfast served in room and ample wine. Strongly recommend if you are looking to relax.

We first stayed here 3 years ago (I think it was) and returned recently when we were down for a long weekend. The new owners, Anna and Brett, have maintained the standards and the touch of luxury. I recommend the Sauvignon Blanc suite, as that is the front one that looks out over the vineyard. The continental breakfast is just...

This beautiful vineyard is a great place to stay if you are visiting Nelson or the Abel Tasman National Park. We stayed at Milcrest during a tour of the South Island and found Anna and Brett's hospitality amongst the warmest we experienced in New Zealand. The smartly furnished suites are directly connected to Anna and Brett's beautiful home, and our...

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful B&B for a couple of nights and were just blown away by it all! The peace and tranquility of the place, watching Swamp Harriers swooping over the vines searching for a meal. The room was very comfortable, looking out over the 6 hectare vineyard. Breakfast was "as you like it", a choice...

Anna was the perfect host at this small B&B on a winery. Great breakfasts brought to the door with a smile, with winning suggestions for things to do in the locality and places to dine out. For breakfast, can highly recommend the home-made savoury muffins and muesli, though everything was delicious. Room had all the modern conveniences needed for a...

We found time to relax and unwind at Milcrest, with an amazing fresh breakfast and lovely accommodation. We enjoyed exploring the local craft beer brewery and Mapua Wharf. We were positively surprised to find this lovely place as we had stayed in about 10 motels, hotels and b&b's on the South Island during our two-week tour and were quite disappointed with many of them. The room we stayed in was very large and tastefully furnished with a small kitchenette, two leather sofas, writing desk and a double bed,...

We stayed here over Labour weekend and what a find. Anna and Brett are fantastic hosts and the location of our Sauvignon suite superb. Sitting up in bed admiring the budding vines from both windows, the sun lighting up a distant mountain range and savoring a healthy first class breakfast prepared by Anna, bliss. Everything is thought of, even chilled...

If you are visiting the he Neilson region, you should make plans to visit Milcrest Estate. Our hosts Anna & Brett could not have been more accommodating and our room was beautifully positioned to take in the vineyard with its Sauvignon Blanc vines just bursting into spring bud. Everything we needed was at our fingertips - they thought of everything...
