Since we needed to split the holiday into 2 parts decided to compare the junior suite for 4 nights and take 1 night as standard (we just had to sleep and drive on)
So the junior suite was confused by a very tired carpet and a strange closet for things without doors just open shelves. But the shower is spacious, there is a minibar and a kettle, generally quite comfortable.

We were accommodated in this hotel for one night along with a small excursion group in order to have the opportunity to get acquainted with the Khibiny Mountains, in the valley of which it is located, and Kirovsky, located a few kilometers away. I consider the accommodation very successful, as the hotel is convenient and comfortable. In 1932, the “Base of the Society of Proletarian Tourism and Excursions” opened in Khibiny, where simple health treatments were provided. Over time, the complex developed and the medical base was improved. Over the past few years, Tirvas has turned into an advanced health complex. It is called a sanatorium beyond the Arctic Circle. I had a chance to visit this sanatorium for 24 hours. The six-story building was probably built in the Soviet Union; however, it has been renovated and looks impressive both outside and inside. The small double room in which I lived alone suited me quite well. Moreover, it opens onto a large balcony, from which there is a beautiful view of the hill. Upon arrival, there was a small incident with a delay in check-in, which spoiled the mood a little, but I quickly pushed aside negative emotions and tuned in to a positive perception of this unique place. After all, the hotel is located in the valley of the Khibiny Mountains!

Decent hotel, good swimming pool with massage and saunas (there is a hammam and a sauna). The buffet is beyond praise. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent treatments. After skiing, this is what you need for recovery. There is one minus - it is difficult to get into Tirvas, the rooms are standard. I ordered in November for April.

A small but very cozy and very bright church, recently built by the PhosAgro company next to the parking lot and very close to the main entrance to the Tirvas hotel-sanatorium. It fits well into the urban composition of this site.
