Excellent property and an amazing location. Just at the banks of river Kaveri, this resort is perhaps the best I have stayed in years. Right from location (the photos tell it all), to rooms (clean and comfortable), to staff (very courteous and helpful), everything surpassed our expectations. You can watch numerous birds, depending on the season, which is a sight to behold. There are two types of rooms - Cottages and Deluxe Rooms. We stayed in deluxe rooms. The room tariff is inclusive of all meals and tea/coffee in the morning and evening. Mr Imdar, the Manager deserves special mention as he personally took care of our needs. Kudos!. Highly recommended for those who are yearning for peace, tranquility and serenity.

Recently we had a chance to stay at this property - an overnight one. There are about 10 cottages. The location is beautiful and gives a natural get up to the stay with sound of water and birds creating an apt atmosphere. Charges are very high - similar to a five star hotel but the facilities are not commensurate with respect to that. There is no stay facilities for drivers even in their own car. The outdoor has not been maintained well and the rooms themselves need lot of maintenance. The doors do not lock up properly, the toiletery provided is of low grade.

We traveled as a group of 12, including 4 kids to Atmaveda during the 15th August weekend. The team at the retreat was on point from before our arrival getting our meal preference and arrival time. Once we reached, We were blown away by the view of the gushing waters of the river. The cottages are well appointed and large in size. But the main attraction is the river by which side We spent maximum time. The package included all meals and they catered to the preferences of kids as well. We spent most of the time at the resort and never missed the lack of TV in the room. The clubhouse had a plethora of games to keep both adults and kids entertained. The icing on the cake was the bonfire at night with the sound of river as background. Overall a complete experience made excellent by the attitude and exemplary service provided by all the staff. Please do not go by the pictures and choose this property. For the price they charge, they don't provide the basic facilities! My cousins and I visited this property on May 10th, 2024. We were 9 of us and they charged us 4800 per person. They gave us only 3 rooms, 3 in 1 room. That means we were paying 14,400 per room. Each room had 1 queen bed and an extra bed which exactly looked like a hospital bed. The doors are sliding glass doors and we had a hard time to close a door, 2 people were needed to close the door and we tried to lock the door and it was a broken lock system. We had hard time keeping our things safe in the room. We couldn't close the bathroom and use it!!! AC's made lot of noise or didnt work!! it rained and the water drained inside our rooms. the room was mess after the rain. And the food, what do you expect from 14k per room resort, a decent buffet! There was no one to serve or help us to open the food cover/ plate for us to serve ourselves. Everyone were struggling to hold the plate and also serve. They had very limited menu, roti was rubbery, idli, chutney or sambar had no salt/ so bland, jam had ants, daal, rasam was repeated for both the meals. Only thing we enjoyed was the river next to the resort, i am giving a star only for that. I definitely not recommend this resort to anyone.

Srirangapatnam is a small town on the banks of the river Cauvery. The old fort, bird sanctuary and nearby temples are great attraction for many types of visitors. The 2-night stay at Atmaveda I had with my family (of 5) was fabulous.
The rooms and property are not in the luxury category but very well maintained and comfortable.
The courteous and helpful staff made you feel at home and Imdad (Manager) was ever watchful in ensuring everything went well.
The best part is the river front view which most of the rooms have. The flowing river and the scenic view is totally soothing to the eyes and the mind.

Atmaveda River Retreat is one of the finest resort I have come across in recent times. The location is just about brilliant. The staff was extremely courteous and the manager Mr Nagesh was a very good host and he was always there when needed. The food was also good. Overall a great experience and would want to visit the place again.

A great place to unwind. The garden where the guest rooms are located is located by the river. Very good and varied, very hearty meals. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff helped organize my trip to Mysore Palaces and the nearby Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.

Great location right on the banks of the river Kaveri. But very poorly maintained property with poor food quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cottage is big and clean inside, but no proper lock and key to the door, poorly maintained landscaping and snooker table, below par food quality, no name board outside to know where the property is. Not worth the price.

Visited the resort for a break, stayed at the cottages. The ambience offered by the resort is quite calming considering it's next to the river Kaveri. The food served and the warmth and courtesy extended by 5he staff is to be commended. Special mention to be made of the ever cheerful Appu as of Chef Raju bhai who customized delicious meals.The provision charging point for e vehicles needs appreciation. The cottages themselves need a lot more maintenance. Of the four cottages, only ne has a fridge. The door handles were loose, coming apart. The tariffs for the cottages are steep, the corresponding upkeep is disappointing. Small details like this, if worked upon could raise resort standards and meet guest expectations.
