The place is a corner of paradise on the sunny, but touristic, south-east of the island. Owners and staff are very friendly and efficient. Each room has a beautiful private terrace overlooking the plantation and the sea. Breakfast is very good and varied. The place is quiet and very well thought, one of the owners is an architect and designed...

This is the hotel for you if you want something away from the crowds and the bars in Tenerife. Tucked away in the middle of a banana plantation, and whilst the local town is host to one of the largest hotels on the island, that hotel is really self-contained, and doesn't spill out into the town, so what is basically...

We stayed for 2 nights at El Navio.....everything was excellent and was just as viewed on their website. The family, the tranquil location and the true banana plantation experience make this an ideal place to stay. We have already made a reservation for April next year. Thank you everybody.

Hotel El Navio is a very amazing place, quite, silent, romantic, inside a Banana Plantation. The rooms are clean and enough large, with a sweet terrace looking bananas and sea (and have a good looking of stars and milky way during the night, but also fireworks). Hotel El Navio has a really particular cusine, principally based on Mango, Papaya and...

On arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff who showed us around the grounds. The rooms and sun terraces are fantastic. The views from here & the pool have to be seen to be believed. Every morn at breakfast we were served a jug of freshly squeezed fruit juice and a bowl of chopped fruit along with a nice...

We only stayed here for a couple of days but couldn't have been happier with our choice of hotel. The hotel itself is approx. 15 min walking from the village of Alcala which, unlike most of the towns in the south, retains its small town charm despite also having 1 mega resort. The rooms are quite basic but if we...

The welcome on the arrival was very hospitable. We were personally shown the grounds, the pool, the terrace, the room and the restaurant where also the breakfast is served. The room is not that big and every room has its own terrace with a table, 2 chairs and also sunbeds with a view over the banana plantation and La Gomera...

We had a lovely week at this hotel . It is on a banana plantation but that adds to the appeal and uniqueness. Don't be put off by the road up to the hotel - it is a working farm but to be fair there is little activity to demonstrate this. The rooms are spacious, well furnished spacious and comfortable....

We hired a car at Tenerife South, and drove the 40 minutes or so on good roads to this small hotel, which is situated in a banana plantation. The final road signs are tricky - the first road on the right after the garage on the far side of Alcala on the road to Los Gigantes. The room is simple,...

Myself and my partner stayed here for 5 nights in early February. From the initial contact with the hotel (in order to arrange a taxi transfer), the service was professional, polite and helpful. Gustavo and his brother Alberto are supported by a small team of charming staff with a 'can do' attitude. Our room was a standard and was absolutely...
