After a long walk over the Yorkshire Moors I found myself in Lane Ends. The Landlord was welcoming and most amusing. I was delighted to find pet pigs and chickens in a field adjoining the garden, pigs are amusing creatures. My son assured that the food is excellent so I highly recommend a visit. Thank you for your hospitality Dave...

What a delight this turned out to be. We sampled the Sunday roast, and meals on two different evenings. The landlord and landlady are extremely welcoming and the staff extremely friendly. Now the meals. A little disappointed with the Sunday roast, not in how it tasted as it was delicious but more with the lack of supporting veg. It was...

We recently stayed here with friends. Lovely views from the rooms and garden. Land lady and land lord very friendly and very knowledgable of things to do in the local area. We ate in the pub and food was very good and reasonable. Rooms are very small and I think £90 a night for the size of them is quite...

After driving passed here on several occasions thinking we need to try that pub I finally booked in for my husbands birthday Sat night. We were welcomed by Molly the bubbly bar girl who showed us to our room. Fantastic view from room and lovely to see 3 pot bellied pigs/hens in field of pub.The room was clean and had...

Stayed overnight for work at the Hare and Hounds, having picked it in a hurry as it seemed good value. Well, I'm really glad I went with my gut on this one as I had a fantastic stay, and wished I was staying longer! I arrived on a Thursday night and settled in to a comfortably furnished and clean room....

I've stayed at the Hare and Hounds many times over the last few years and the Timothy Taylors beer has always been kept and served to perfection. Likewise the full English breakfast never failed to set me up for a busy day ahead, and the beds have always been firm and fresh and easy to have a good night's sleep...

Stayed here as a base for a weekend in Hebden Bridge- the walk down to the town is lovely (in good weather!), and you can get a taxi or bus if it's raining! The landlord and his wife were lovely, and the food was great and catered well for vegetarians (which my partner and I both are). The beer was...

We were staying at the small caravan club site a ver y short distance away. Others on the campsite said it was worth a visit, nothing gourmet but good value and quality. We found it quite busy even early evening on aThursday night but there was plenty of space. It was a friendly place And our food was excellant. My...

May be a little remote for some people, it's about twenty minutes walk from the town of Hebden Bridge but the return is up a very big hill. The room was warm and clean with pleasant views of the surrounding hills; the bed was comfortable; the shower hot - what more do you need from a room? The pub has...

The beer here is excellent, especially the Ram Tam - best pint in ages!! The Landlord is always on great form too - cosy friendly local with a good menu, though we've never eaten yet! Can't wait to go back x
