I stayed 3 nights in a dorm and really enjoyed my stay. The hostel is spotlessly clean, family run, and in the most beautiful setting, perched up high overlooking the sea. The dorms are great, spacious with thoughtful touches like a wardrobe per bed, a little night light, a shelf with power point and a chair to dump some stuff on. The family make you feel welcome and special. The steps - lets talk about the steps. It will take you between 13 and 17 minutes to walk up to the hostel from the station. I did it 3 times (once with my backpack), and got the bus once. It’s fine! Everything on that part of the coast is up high. Plus the view is totally worth it. And think of the calories you burn! Only slight downside (and it’s not their fault) is that I didn’t make any friends here. The hostel, during my time there, seemed to attract an older crowd and some older couples. But I’m a lone wolf anyway and I made friends on trips to the Cinque terre.…
Firstly let me say this hostel was a breath of fresh air. Away from the bigger cities and tourists crowds. They family are so great and accommodating, allowing me to check in far later than i hoped to. They offer the best free breakfast Iv had in the whole of Europe. Your given a towel at no charge and the rooms are more spacious than city hostels. Id say this would be a great hostel for families for summer too. Not a "party" hostel. My tip would be: Arrive during hours that the shuttle runs from the station or you'll face 200 steps with your bags!
Very good price and very good quality. Clean room with amazing view above the sea ( I miss this view). The service was really friendly and helpfull and free car parking. Perfect place if you want to visit Cinque Terre. Close there is a railway station and train every hour which takes you to Five Lands.
First of all this is a lovely hostel. Clean, sweet receptionist, good breakfeast and great location! But i write here to give a warning to fellow travellers. NOT far from the hostel lives Italien painter Riccardo Mattia, whom offered me to stay with him for free (he does this to many travellers). He asked me not to tell the hostel. After 10 days, the night before returning home, he went crazy. It all ended up with him beating me with a stick, throwing my bag out from 1st floor, telling me he will come and kill my mother (knows my adress)... Please go to this great hostel, but please please please dont stay with Riccardo/Richard. Best regards
Everything was super good. The owners are sweet and cook well, you can get dinner there for around 10€ (it tastes like mum made it - recommended). It is a bit far up from the beach (but hey, you can eat without feeling bad). The beaches are pretty. There was a live music night, which was awesome, in the pizzeria in the villafe. I met some amazing people, hopefylly you will as well. Beds are comfortable, bathroom clean, room as well clean and spacious. The only thing is that there was really bad wifi connection where my bed was. I would definetely recommend this place 😻 have a great time in 5terre and Framura!
