We stayed 3 nights in a lovely second floor room over Memorial Day weekend. We decided to eat all 3 dinners there as well and asked if the chef could provide interesting vegan meals. He did an outstanding job of providing 5 excellent courses each night surprising us with his creativity. We also had wonderful breakfasts. We came up to...

An indignant hummingbird was waiting as I tiptoed downstairs for my 6:00 AM coffee. He chattered at me, perched on the swing-arm of an empty feeder, just outside the window as I fumbled my K-cups. I don't understand why these male Ruby-Throats are so territorial: There were five other feeders full of nectar, mounted at the other windows around the...

This was my 3rd stay. It is beautiful and unique. The innkeepers, Ed and Les, have 2 big Bernese Mountain dogs that wander around the property. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and mountains rise up on all sides. You can stay in a room or a cottage. I loved the School House Cottage -- it has its own little patio...

You are greeted at the door by Bernese Mountain dogs- just two- and the visit just gets better from there! The Inn is beautiful. The rooms are beautifully furnished Victorian style but with all the nice touches to add to your comfort. You feel quite pampered! Breakfast is delicious with many choices (included in price of room). We watched ducklings...

This place is just lovely for the colder months. We stayed in the Evans Suite (I think that's what it was called) in November after the leaves had fallen but before ski season started. The weather was cold, but the rustic and cozy interior made my boyfriend and I feel right at home. Our room had an amazing jacuzzi tub,...

We found this beautiful inn via a Groupon in Canada and ended up planning a trip around it. The inn was absolutely perfect, all that we had hoped for and more. The staff were all so nice, the gardens beginning to emerge after the winter and the dogs were charming. It was exactly as you would picture a New England...

We stayed at the Inn this past weekend & we didn’t want to leave! We are actually already trying to plan a trip back! You can’t beat this location in the White Mountains. Everything about this Inn was great, and I honestly couldn’t think of one thing that I didn’t like. Part of the reason we choose this place were...

Cannot say enough about the Notchland! From the innkeepers to the staff, everyone was so incredibly friendly and made us feel like we were at home. Our room, the Evan room, was so romantic, clean, and charming. The dogs were a hoot too! Can't wait to return in the summer.

We returned to the Notchland Inn after several year’s hiatus. Thankfully it was just the same – wonderfully welcoming and relaxing; we felt we were coming home. We received a grand doggie welcome from Roxy and Gypsy the Inn’s Burmese Mountain dogs. Ed and Less, the owners are as hospitable as ever. The food is excellent with a cooked-to-order breakfast...
