We directly left for this camp from the airport and reached around 5-5:30pm. The manager was quite helpful and willing to make sure we have a good time. He quickly took us in his car and drove to the camel ride point for sunset (part of the package). lt was a good experience. These camps are a little away from the main camel ride point and hence the need to drive there. At night, the cultural program was good. Starters could have been better but overall food was good. Next morning, we left for Tanot mata mandir and BP 609. It was a great drive as roads were fantastic. On return to the city, did the city tour and checked in late at night at Jaiselmer resort. Was doable on the same day.
Excellent experience everything from welcome,check-in,camps& food were amazing. The tents are pretty big and clean.Special appreciation for maintaining the hygiene The staff be it front desk, concierge or kitchen are good they are Ready to help you with a smile. Jeep Safari in a 4x4 arranged by the front desk was awesome and camels arranged for Sunset Point were well maintained, on return to camp.the cultural program was also good overall money well spent
The Winds Desert Camp Stay on 1st Nov 2021 was a very comfortable and delightful one. Much to our expectations, the rooms were really very well maintained, the bathroom are very very clean and it felt outstanding quality for Jaisalmer. The staff are very accommodating and I must say very witty and delighted us with their spontaneous responses. The cultural show was very good and we enjoyed the soothing live music by Rafiq and all our requests were very well sung. The seating area was very comfortable and snacks were served on our arrival. As we had heard of Ker-sangri local dish from our driver, Mayank Singh obliged to prepare the dish for us which is really a pleasant gesture from the staff and we thoroughly enjoyed the dish to the last bite. The Sun rise jeep safari, camel race ride, parasailing and the dune bashing were all very thrilling and fun activities which we enjoyed at the Sam Dunes organised by Winds Desert Camp. The breakfast served was very tasty and good. Will recommend anyone who is looking for quality stay and great service.…
