We stayed for 4 nights Monday - Friday in a Elite 1 cabin (walnut). The location is great and although I was initially worried about it being too secluded it was just the right distance from the little villages and towns. Our cabin was lovely, although being right next to the farm did spoil the view just a tad and... More

The Lodges were acceptable for a short visit, we stayed in a Plus lodge but these are the oldest ones and some things were a bit dated. The Elite Lodges look better and more private but these would cost more. It is a bit remote so you definitely need a car and be prepared to drive down dark single lane... More

Very disappointed is an understatement. Not our first "luxury"lodge experience but fail to see how this can be described as ELITE the place wasn't very clean at all lots of little things also letting the place down neither the hot tub or sauna working fully, light bulbs blown little things. The bed is honestly the the most uncomfortable, squeaky, lumpy... More

Stayed here with family on half term, The place is very remote with the nearest shops about 8 miles away. We stayed in the Oaks cabin, it was in need of a deep clean and a good polish, the cabin was tidy and beds neatly made. We was disappointed on a few days has the hot tub was temperamental and... Myself and my husband have just got home from being at Athelington hall for 5 days. We had a brilliant time and didn't want to leave. We originally booked a one bedroom elite cabin. We were really impressed when we arrived. The cabin is exactly as pictured and described. Although it is a one bedroom it is still very spacious.... More

We stayed in Elite 2 from 5th - 9th September, and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed - towels, kitchen utensils, iron, hairdryer, even travel scrabble! There was a lovely hot tub which we made the most of, and a sauna inside the lodge. The area was very quiet and peaceful, we... More

Upon arrival.we went to reception to be met by just an envelope with a key in(we never saw an actual human during our stay). The cabin(or should I say caravan on wheels) had all the lights on.all windows open.and full of flies!! I have never seen so many bugs in one place! The next thing we noticed was how grubby they... More

Just back from a 7 night stay in these lovely lodges. We stayed in Spruce a two bedrooms elite lodge and really can''t fault it. Everything you could need and more. Location is very remote, it takes a good 15 minutes drive to get off the country lanes. We found most places we wanted to visit were around an hour... More

An impressive moat and acres of open fields surround the 17th-century Hall, complete with a fine avenue of oak trees. Original Log Cabins: We have five 2 bedroom lodges, one double with en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom and a full bathroom. All of which feature a cosy lounge and dining area, as well as a kitchen. All five of our lodges have their own personal hot tub on the patio, perfect for unwinding in the evening, listening to the sweet sound of nature. Elite Log Cabins: We have 4 luxury cabins with 2 bedrooms whilst the other 2 cabins have one bedroom making them perfect for a romantic getaway or even a honeymoon. All have their own private hot tub on the deck. Two of our two-bedroom units also have a sauna. The 1-bedroom units have a four-poster bed with a sauna in the bathroom. These lodges have an open plan living area with modern furnishings. This design combines contemporary decor with functional and fashionable living within rustic surroundings. There is also the facility to purchase fresh farm eggs and bacon on site and various other sundries. Rates : From £179 to £855 per week depending on season. Maximum of 6 people per cabin.
