We had a terrible experience with a lazy and arrogant Manager when we spent a night in mid March 2019. The resort is very closely located to the Anumalai Tiger Reservat which is good. However, the price is way to high: only one light in the whole room so we could not read anything after 6 pm, staff was friendly, but did not even offer water to drink, spoons were still dirty. No A/C which in itself is ok but then the price is way too high. WLAN was only at the reception which again is no Problem but the price is too high compared to other hotels in this price category which we had seen during our trip.
Loved it here. Beautiful building, with lovely views of the gardens/grounds and birdlife. Breakfast was one of the best that we'd had in India, although we hadn't known it was ready for us at first. Dinner was bought to our room.
Cons first Heater wasn't working No phone in room Inspite of informing about the heater multiple times nothing was done about it Pros Lovely property Wonderful food like home cooked Play area along with dining area with carromboard etc which was a much needed break there as there isn't much to do in Pollachi in the evenings Ample parking space A very good choice for families,
We stayed with friends in the month of October on the way to Parambikulam. We were received well by the manager and also he gave some good discount offer , despite when they knew we were desperately in need of a stay near parambikulam in a very short notice. There were not many people in the campus during the night we stayed, hence we found this just awesome place to move around with lot of space. Food was served and it was decent enough per our expectations. Boys took care of us...overall a good place to consider staying near parambikulam.
Five of us stayed here for 1 night and had a very good experience. TheHe resort is close to the top slip and parambikulam reserves and was remotely located yet had good amenities considering the remoteness. We were the only guest in the resort during our stay so we good wonderful freshly cooked homely food also. The only minus point is there is no phone in the room so we need to walk upto the reception every time something is required.
We reached there at 9 P.M on 24th March 2017 and left on 26th evening. The resort is on the main road from Sethumadai to Topslip. The environment is like a farm house, with lot of Coconut trees, Mango trees, Munthiri trees with water canals. Table Tennis, chess, carrom. Badminton, volley ball, cycling etc. You have Tree hut, rope climbing, net climbing, moving from one tree to another through Tyre tied ropes. Sky rope gliding using a Hook. If you want to get trained in these sports they arrange trainers with safety gadgets. They have a good restaurant for both veg and non-veg. The rooms are neat. The climate is some what hot. Rooms have only fans no airconditioner.
Very nice place to be with family. Set inside a very calm and natural atmosphere with large spacious rooms. Food is to order (to be ordered well in advance) and too good. Good activity area for kids and adults. Had lot of fun.
Booked this place based on the reviews but got really disappointed with the whole experience. Fan regulator is there, but not working, getting the water heater to work was a pain each and every day, it took several trips to reception (every day) to get it working for a short time. Half of the light bulbs not working. Since there was a small number of guest, no buffet, everything needed to be ordered upfront (like order around noon what you want for dinner, otherwise preparation takes too long). Limited breakfeast buffet, no toast, no juice, no bottle water, ... Asking several times for black coffee and finally getting tea, served in an old flask. For dinner we got some soup, servered in a plastic throw away cup, with plastic spoons, after complaining about this, we managed to get a single normal spoon. Luckely there were some things to do for the kids - they enjoyed the adventure climbing (although the 750 rupees price per person is quite high). Staff is friendly and helpfull. …
Its a beautiful property amidst a coconut groove. Very peaceful and has all the interiors in the heritage style. Friendly staff add to the advantage. There was a personal touch by Vivek (one of the owners)himself to every visitor. Although there are only non AC rooms the breeze can make you forget the heat. Would be a great place to visit esp in monsoon, with friends and family
With my family went to Parambikulam, Aliyar Temple for two day trip . I chose this resort after going through their reviews. Not disappointed. The Resort is located only in the foothills but closer to the checkpost. Quick access to the checkpost in the mornings as it becomes crowded during the holidays.Descent stay. But No AC rooms available .Food is Okay and to be on time , we need to place the order prior. We spent our second day morning on resort itself on the activities they developed with the ropes. We paid an extra cost.Overall their hospitality is appreciable as they show attention on us everytime. I will recommend this place for a descent stay for a family trip.
