This is where serious salmon fishermen spend their summer vacations in July. Of course, not every year is a good year for salmon, and 2016 was a Very Bad Year, even for the folks dragging cannonballs on cables; I was in my trusty Hobie Fisherman Pro 12' kayak, whose Mirage Drive gave me a range of only a few miles....

We appreciate your taking the time to write a review. Thank you for your positive feedback. This August and September were less consistent for salmon fishing, but we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us nonetheless. We do have rooms in the main lodge that come equipped with a kitchenette, or even a full kitchen; ask us about...

I can't comment on the rooms but the food was great. I had the seafood chowder and it is to die for and enough for a very hungry person. The view from the lounge is amazing as well. Would highly recommend.

My husband has been coming to Nootka for years to go fishing, so I thought I would join him this time. We rented a Yurt, #114 and all I can say is amazing! Check in was organized, our Yurt was ready for an early check in which was terrific. I work for an airline, so I travel a great deal....

This was our first time at Moutcha Bay and it was amazing. Unfortunately, we were not able to book a room but able to get campsite and loved it! The campsite are clean, fairly large and relatively close to bathrooms. The bathroom were always super clean and the showers ( $1.00/ 3min - main office always had loonies available) were...

Moutcha bay resort has really come along way from the run down camp ground it used to be. The resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the location is perfect. I highly recommend this to any fellow fisherman!
