We have just returned from an 8 week trip around UK & Ireland using 41 different B&Bs and although we stayed in several excellent establishments rank Acorn Court Country House number 1. It is located in a very scenic part of Wales. The house is modern with ample parking in front. Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by owner’s...

As always, just so perfect in all areas. Sarah, Margaret, David and girls are just so helpful, and the rooms pristine and spacious. Ample parking, quiet location so you can hear the birds and surrounding livestock. Nothings to much trouble, it really is the best of the best.

We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. We had a very spacious, comfortable room with a private balcony and the use of a small, well equipped kitchen. We loved sitting out watching the ducks and geese on the pond, the sheep in the field, a variety of birds on the feeders and the friendly sheepdogs. Breakfast was...

This has got to be the absolute best b+b in the country! Must be the 6th time we've stayed and we'll be back next year. From the minute you arrive, where Sarah greets you with tea and cake, nothing is too much trouble for her. She is the perfect host, friendly, helpful and just so relaxed and unflappable. The rooms...

Stayed here for the third time, and the standards are as high as ever with nothing too much trouble. Sarah even offered to collect a Chinese takeaway for us and other guests one evening, which was really exceptional service. If you want a great place to stay in the area, this is it. Big rooms, every facility, and a great...

Think of what you would really want in a B&B and Acorn Court surpasses it on all counts. Sarah should win awards for her hospitality and friendliness, nothing is too much trouble and really there is nothing you need that isn't already provided. Make sure you allow 15 minutes to walk off the killer breakfast, if only I had willpower...

It is hard to find fault with this B&B - everything is so very comfortable and Sarah is an amazing hostess for whom nothing is too much trouble. To find a hot water bottle in the bed after a day of long walks was so much appreciated. And the food is outstanding. Thank you Sarah and we look forward to...

Acorn Court is best summed up by ... nothing is too much trouble. As all the reviews say, Sarah is a fantastic host and a warm, funny individual. She so clearly and consistently looks for ways to make your stay the best it can be - home made cake when you arrive in from a long walk, hot water bottles...

At very short notice we needed accommodation in Llandrindod Wells after a family bereavement. Sarah and family could not have been more helpful and looked after our family with the utmost thoughtfulness. It is a rare commodity these days when businesses genuinely put themselves out to help customers and we were extremely grateful for the warmth and kindness we were...
