The most recent of many visits here. The food is of a high standard and staff very friendly! Great selection of ales too and all at reasonable prices. Most importantly though, it's great for the kids and dog friendly as well.

We stayed here on a recommendation when visiting friends nearby. Nothing was to much trouble had a couple of very nice real ales on arrival. Rooms are clean and spacious with everything you need. Lounge area with fire at night is very relaxing. Full English for breakfast was huge and all quality ingredients not your normal cheap tinned rubbish. Would...

My husband, our 3 year old daughter and I thought we would try it as it was our wedding anniversary, very disappointed. We ordered a mixed grill for my husband, and curry of the day for me and a child's chicken nuggets, chips and peas for our daughter, the the curry was so hot it about blew my head off,...

This Hotel is beguiling, its low key and a little idiosyncratic but it delivers with a punch. Both a friend and I were on a charity cycle ride from Chester to Cardiff and the Lowfield was our planned 1st stop. Our room was very clean, crisp clean sheets and duvets. The staff could not do enough for us. Bringing up...

So long as you don't mind being in a rural village location, the Lowfield is perfect with lovely food, drinks, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We had an early start so a continental breakfast was left for us in the guest area. Nothing was too much trouble and we enjoyed our stay.

Spent a few days here with my sister who had limited mobility. Staff were AMAZING to us both. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning. A breakfast that would feed a hungry man. The view each morning on outside terrace set us up for each day. A fantastic place to recharge your batteries. The bar had a family atmosphere...

The evening meal was very good and there was a good selection of real ales. Breakfast was provided at a time that suited you and was really delicious. Would...

It is a lovely pub and restaurant in quaint surroundings. Delicious food, bright pub and restaurant. Pub and restaurant staff are very accommodating. Clean. Place to chill out, rest, and rewind. Like the other b&b's we visited on our trip this fall, save yourself money, and the b&b owner booking costs, by contacting the b&b owner directly instead of booking...

We visited with another couple and we all thought this place went above and beyond to look after us during our stay. The staff were so friendly they made us feel right at home. The food was very tasty, I mistakenly ordered a dish with potatoes for one of my meals and the chef offered me an alternative which I...
