We stayed in a family room at the Pilgerhaus toward the end of our trip and we wished we had more nights to stay. This place is a hidden treasure with its beautiful lake view, peaceful atmosphere, amazing food and so so friendly staff. It is well maintained, very clean and the room was very big to accommodate our family...

We stayed here for three nights as a base to explore the Galilee area (so glad we avoided the old and tatty Tiberius!!). The booking process was a little hard, nothing online and via phone there was rarely someone who could actually make the booking. Most people who stay here seem to be on tours, so perhaps they are not...

After a hectic week in Jerusalem, our group loved the peaceful atmosphere of this guesthouse on the water. Each room was configured differently, but all were clean, comfortable, and easily accessible by stairs or elevator. There were hairdryers in the rooms. The common areas - the only place that Wi-Fi was reliable - were modern and well appointed; the outside...

Run by the German Benedictine monks this clean, simple, lodging, denies not its name - it is a hostel for pilgrims. Set on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the peacefulness of the place is ideal for a retreat, or, as for us, a place to unwind after a long day of being a pilgrim to the Holy Sites...

Situated right on the Sea of Galilee, this is a nice hotel, with several key amenities. There is a wonderful little chapel on the grounds where we got to go to Mass every morning, which made for a wonderful start to the day. We had to walk a bit to get to our room, but once there we were enveloped...

This resort was peaceful and had amazing views of the Sea of Galilee and lush landscaping. The food was also so good even for a buffet . The rooms were adequately furnished and clean. We were with a holy land tour group and this hotel had everything we needed.

This fantastic facility is billed as a Benedictine guest house, but it comes much closer to a resort. There are no televisions (a positive for a spiritual pilgrimage), but the food, the rooms and the views are far more elegant than most monastic retreat centers I have ever visited. That said, the atmosphere is profoundly contemplative. Others have mentioned the...
