We have been visiting Flinders Lodge since early 2013, when my husband started treatment in Adelaide. This motel has been our relaxing second home and we have enjoyed staying during his treatments. I’ve always recommended this place to friends and family in similar situations but my last stay was very disappointing. It seems the service has gone backwards. The reception...

We stayed here 3 weeks in January 2015, for cancer treatment. The room was light and comfortable and great value. A great part of Adelaide with the parks over the road and shopping districts close by. An enjoyable stay, I highly recommend it.

The accommodation gives preference to cancer patients (of course) but it is a great alternative for weekend accommodation at a commercial rate. There has been a change of chef, with a menu more...

The Flinder's Lodge is operated by the Cancer Council to provide reasonably priced accommodation primarily for people who are travelling from regional areas to Adelaide for cancer treatment, though it is open for 'regular' commercial business as well. The motel is basic, the rooms are basic, there is no doubting that, but in a town where $150+ motels are the...

I booked a room at this motel, based on the location and the price. On the outer edge of the parks that surround the CBD, I thought not having been to Adelaide before that this would be a good location. It was, but the motel wasn't really that great. The rooms were okay, but the main issue was the noise....
