We were very grateful to find this lovely B&B at very short notice 19-21 August 2018 ,as this is a busy time of the year in Camber. We had a charming double room which was very reasonably priced.
We were served a delicious breakfast whilst chatting to fellow guests in a love

I have taken my time to respond to this rather sorry incident, and used that time to reflect on the comments made; I rarely receive negative comments and so feel it is important to respond thoughtfully. These guests booked a single occupancy and arrived with a dog. I knew straight away a mistake had been made and said I wasn’t expecting 2 people and a dog. However they were welcomed into their room and nothing more was discussed until we both looked into how this had happened. Sadly it was an error on our agent booking service where single occupancy had been selected and charged for. We have 3 tariffs for this room with private patio area, single, double and extra child bed. The next morning we discussed this in private and I explained how it had occurred and what the cost of a double occupancy and dog charge is. We clearly show the tariffs on our web site and also ask guests to call us if bringing a dog because a charge for them cannot be added to the booking on line and because of safety reasons for all on the farm. Shortly after this I received an email from them stating the cost was over their budget and could we talk about it. That afternoon I was invited to their room and I agreed to accept the single occupancy but a small charge for their dog. There was no persistence in asking for money, no bad feelings, and certainly no embarrassment, as it was a private discussion. They received very good value for money, was very thankful and friendly upon leaving. I genuinely regret their stay at Point Farm was ruined by an error beyond our control. Guest reviews clearly illustrate that we are friendly and welcoming.
