The staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially as we were staying with such a large group. Everything was clean and wifi/televisions/kettles were in every room. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the boat club, the centre of Westbridford and the local library. Great restaurants near by. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting affordable convenience...

Stayed here for while on a rowing training camp on the trent in the spring of 2016. Really comfortable, rooms are nicely furnished and the staff are delightful - so lovely and obliging. Also provided us with an excellent continental breakfast each morning. Convenient access to Trent Bridge/stadium and really good transport links (there's a bus which stops literally right...

We were a large group staying at the Talbot for a week. The accommodation is very comfortable, extremely clean, and in a great location. The staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel is very quiet and there are lots of restaurants, shops, and the local library just down the road. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful (we had the continental...

I have stayed in this hotel for the past five weeks, five to six nights a week for work. In these thirty odd nights of stayed here, I had absolutely no problems, everything was perfect, housekeeping right on point, room spacious, clean bathrooms which is very important. Unfortunately I didn't get to have breakfast at all, but this is free...

Really needs an upgrade to fixtures and furnishings as everything is years old but this is a budget stay and the bed was clean and comfortable . Quiet for a city room and car parking and proximity to the Nottingham sports venues are a big plus . Friendly reception and a great real ale pub just down the road .

Thank you for leaving a positive review. Whilst the Talbot is not the most modern it is clean, comfortable with good customer service as you have stated and we are in an amazing location. Our room prices are less than the modern city hotels and we believe good value. You seem to have enjoyed your stay despite the low rating...

Anyone visiting Nottingham for a sporting event whether it be cricket at Trent Bridge or Football either at Notts County or Notts Forest, this hotel is ideally located for an overnight stay. Virtually across the road from the cricket ground and both football grounds within 10-15 minutes walk. I stayed overnight as I was visiting my Daughter for her 21st....

Easy to find, looking like a pub in appearance with a large car park out back for 25 cars. The door to the summer lounge is keypad-controlled, but a doorbell will summon someone. Its location is very convenient with bus stops immediately outside on a route that loops every 5 mins, a few pubs up the road (the Wetherspoons's is...

It's a small hotel in Nottingham near the Trent Bridge. If you are here for cricket this is for you. If not, you might find it overpriced. I stayed in the ground floor and I found it very stuffy, the room was, average and the breakfast options were limited. But the staff and owners were very hospitable and nice and it's...

Thanks for your review. We do try to provide a good customer experience and believe our prices to be competitive for the area. Our overheads are high and must be covered in our charges. I am sure that in West Bridgford you will not find a room for less.

I was recommended the Talbot House when I started working & commuting to Nottingham recently and have found the recommendation to be very sound. It’s well located with good access to town and loads of public transport options - its also right over the road from trent bridge and a great wetherspoons.
