Reminiscing. 40 years ago spent many happy hours holidaying in area and riding with daughter's of the landlord of this pub. Food was excellent. Even managed a pudding. Very busy with all tables reserved. Two sittings. Lucky to get in. Would recommend. Beautiful traditional establishment with a lot of history.

We have visited The Plough Inn at Ford for many years, and much more so recently, having lived nearby. Never bothered to review it before as it is very successful and gets lots of good reviews. However, we have just moved away from the area and must commend them for all they do. We, and one small dog, spent two...

Met as a family group of 7, from all over the country to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. We all enjoyed a 3 course meal, with drinks. The roast s we're particularly good. Excellent dessert menu.

Booked here for the first night of their 3 course Christmas Menu at £21.95. First courses (4 of us) and varied choices were all pronounced extremely good. 2nd course we all had the turkey dinner with the trimmings. Once more a good report although one of our number thought the roast potatoes were not roasted enough. Just an opinion. Portions...

Thank you for your review, and we appreciate your comments on being allowed to sit down before being asked what you would like to drink - this is usually the format. We do hope to see you again in the near future.

Lovely pub - sat by the wood burner and by a window. Dogs not only allowed but positively welcome and ours was fussed over by the charming landlady and waitress. The pie of the day was simply superb - home made and mouth watering. We found this place by chance just driving through the Cotswolds but will definitely return -...

We called in at 2pm on a Saturday and found a table straight away. The staff were great and the food was served really quickly. It was a very high standard too and plenty to eat. i recommend the pigeon breasts with mushroom and bacon source. 2x starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks for under £60 in great surroundings,

stopped of for lunch, had a fab time, staff knowledgeable and helpful, food fantastic, fresh, hot, tasty and lots of choices. We ad starters with some sides as we didn't want a lot to eat and it filled us up. Lovely atmosphere and they allow dogs in, so a bonus if you have them with you.

AMAZING. We ate here three nights in a row! We stayed at a nearby B&B (North Farmcote...stay there!!) and we just could not go anywhere else. The food is delicious!! Thank goodness--no "gastropub" bean sprouts and kale here. But the food is still more than just greasy, flavorless fare. Absolutely delicious! Some highlights: steak and mushroom pie, mashed potatoes, pork...

Whilst trekking back across the lavender fields of North west Gloucestershire. We came upon this roadside inn. It had loads of pot hole filled parking on both sides of the road and an original old petrol pump (from when it was a pit stop for drivers of a bygone era).Inside the place has loads of character, wide low doorways ,open fires,pictures...

Thank you for your review. In regards to your observation on the cheese and mayo, we are more than happy to leave anything out that is possible to leave out to accommodate individual requirements, simply ask and we will do our best. The chips are usually great so unsure what happened that day and we vary the specials all year...

Met relatives at The Plough for lunch as a mutually convenient location. Table next to the bar and not overly busy. The staff seemed a little distracted and whilst I do not like over-attentive staff this was, at times, a little too far towards lacking attention. Possible confusion between the bar staff and table staff, probably due to the table...
