2 families;10 people 4 nights between Christmas and New Year. Rented the whole house which was perfect for us. Really pretty outside in a rural location surprisingly close to Paris. We lived and chilled in the living room which was really relaxing and used 6 bedrooms. Bathrooms and toilets probably let the house down a bit and would have been...

Our family of 14 stayed there (we rented the whole place) in June 2013. Mike and Jeff were PERFECT hosts! The accommodations were very clean and comfortable! Breakfasts were yummy and always on time! Bus stop and small grocery store nearby. They even taxied us to and from the train station every morning and evening (we didn't rent any cars...

We stayed at La Sucrerie with 15 family members. Mike and his staff were wonderful and very helpful as we planned our days in Paris. We were served delicious breakfast every morning as an added treat. The house is lovely, very old French manor style but also very up to date. Each room was so interesting with individual decor. The...

The house is very nice, spacious bedrooms, lovely lounge, but very small kitchen. During the evenings, the conservatory was quite cold and the temperature was controlled centrally and could not be adjusted. The pool table is a French pool table and has no pockets, which was a bit disappointing. The house is only ever cleaned before and after your stay,...

La Sucrerie is a nice place to stay if your looking for a cute b&b away from the bustle of the city. The room was clean, well decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The biggest complaint my sister and I had was we were not warned if you didn't have a car, La Sucrerie is not the place to stay....

I can't imagine coming to Paris and not staying in La Sucrerie. Although its a little bit outside the city, it is near enough that going in to see the sights is not a hassle. The house is extremely beautiful and each room has its own charm. Everyone was so wonderful and so friendly that it made my trip that...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Sucrerie. It is the perfect location to visit Paris and the surrounding countryside. You save money by staying outside the city, but a nearby train station makes all the sights very easily accressible. La Sucrerie is very family-friendly: we were traveling with our two year old and three month old and felt that...

This was the first stop for my wife and I on our long motorbike trip back to Malta from the UK. We were joined for the weekend by my daughter and her fiance, each on their own bikes. Chavenay is a quaint little village within an easy distance of all the sights in and around Paris. We chose to stay...

La Sucrerie was unbelievebly beautiful and quaint, each room with it's own personality. The food was delicious, and the service amazing. Mike was such a fantastic host, everything we needed or wanted was totally covered and he was such good fun! This is the most beautiful house for groups of friends to stay in. Peaceful, rural setting a short walk from the delightful small town of Chavenay yet close enough to Paris to take in the sights and nightlife. Mike and his staff were wonderful. We could not have asked for more helpful and friendly hosts. Breakfast in the conservatory was...
