We stayed in twin room with own dressing room and shower room. Traditional old cottage charmingly decorated and offering a warm welcome and a great full English served on bone china. Be warned that the owners are selling and we were told we were one of their last guests, so maybe under new ownership. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I were walking the SDW in Sept 2015 and were so lucky to have found this lovely home hosted by Wendy and her husband Terry. It was quiet and very spacious and everything a Band B should be with a wonderful nutritious breakfast. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Visiting South England, Sussex in particular, is a very beautiful experience, like going around in a huge park. However, experience is even more memorable if instead of city hotels, or city B&B, one stays in countryside accommodations. One then experiences the true atmosphere of centuries of tradition and also hospitality of hosts. The place to stay in is Hobbs Cottage,...

We were walking the South Downs Way and were delighted to discover this place right alongside the path on the way down. The room was spacious and comfortable and Wendy was very helpful and welcoming. We had a good night's sleep and a filling breakfast - ideal preparation for the next day's walk Our only slight negative was that there...

My wife and I stayed here while walking the South Downs Way - Hobbs Cottage is directly on the Way. We had spacious accommodation (our room had a separate seating area) and we were offered use of the conservatory and garden. We were served a very good breakfast. There is a pub serving good food a few minutes walk away...

Wendy had kindly put an extra bed in the lovely twin room and there was still plenty of room. We had everything we needed it was spotlessly clean and wholesome breakfast the next day. Wendy was very helpful with our questions...

We were given a very friendly warm welcome from Wendy at Hobbs Cottage. This is a 400 year old flint cottage situated at Pycombe on the South Downs Way. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable. We had an en suite bathroom which was great. Breakfast was very good indeed.
