We have just returned home after a Fantastic weekend in King Robert hotel stirling The staff are a real credit to the Hotel, we were welcomed by Elizabeth who is very bubbly and full of great character, all the staff are all very helpful nothing was too much trouble to them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the meals served at nights were excellent hot tasty and plentiful. Breakfast was first class everything you could want was on offer buffet style with friendly staff on hand to help. We highly recommend this hotel we were made to feel very welcome and will certainly return. Ewan from the bar was absolutely top man he was full of great cheer! His cocktails are fabulous and must be tried! Garry from night shift was brilliant too We will most certainly be back it’s the best friendliest hotel I have ever stayed in.

We are just home from this hotel. It really is a hidden gem. We read that It’s recently been done up and rooms look great, the finishing touches in the hall way aren’t as good but the rooms are lovely. The double room has a lovely en-suite with shower as well as the biggest, comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. The staff from the reception , to the waiting and bar staff were all approachable and friendly. Elizabeth who welcomed us at reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. Every reception should have an Elizabeth! Food was delicious too, great portion sizes and great prices. We highly recommend the burgers and the steak pie. Perfectly situated hotel for visiting The Bannockburn Heritage Centre, Stirling Castle and Wallace monument. We will definitely be back.

Very pleasant stay in early January. We have been here several times pre-covid and have never had any complaints. On our return, we noticed the rooms had been updated and were warm and spotless clean on our arrival. We booked 2 nights with breakfast and with a dinner and entertainment package for the second night. The quality of the food was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty to choose from. Dinner was 3 course with coffee etc. Dinner was served in the entertainment venue prior to the main act. The place was mobbed and still the staff managed to serve some 200 odd people within good timescales with food that was piping hot. The hospitality and catering staff were brilliant and appeared to really appreciate the guests. Although the hotel is not near the town centre, there is a bus stop directly outside. We phoned a taxi and it was only £6.20 to the town centre, where we spent a lovely afternoon. We will definitely be back for another package of hospitality, food and entertainment.

Kerry on Reception was very welcoming and our room was clean and modern with excellent heating. The room had a lovely view of the Bannockburn Heritage Centre. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked, with a good choice of cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast options. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back!

We booked our stay just half hour before we arrived. We were greeted with a warm welcome at reception Our room 227 was on the ground floor which exceeded our expectations. Comfortable bed, beautiful bedding, great shower. We arrived when it was dark and when we opened the curtains the next morning we were surprised to see a beautiful garden view . Self serve breakfast and everything for anyone. If we pass this way again we will definitely be staying again Great value for money Oh and the staff are just lovely. Thank you

Attended the meatloaf tribute act on Saturday evening. The staff are a real credit to the hotel , they are so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble to them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the meal served at the tribute night was excellent hot tasty and plentiful. The singer was amazing we really enjoyed both his sets. The dj was a friendly chap and raised a good amount of money for a local charity doing a raffle followed by a spin the wheel game. Breakfast was first class everything you could want was on offer buffet style with friendly staff on hand to help. We highly recommend this hotel we were made to feel very welcome and will certainly return.
