After a 50 minute wait it's great to be shouted at and know...

Excellent! Pleased to add my review to all the existing excellent ones. Everything was truly excellent but the food was outstanding, try the "Breakfast Pancake"! Even the coffee was great, so often this can let the whole experience down.

We really enjoyed our three night stay at the Dutch House. Their 'continental 'breakfast is really amazing. There is lovely fresh yogurt and fruits, followed by ham, salami, thin slices of cheese, tomatoes and cucumber, as well as toasts and croissants. And two cups of delicious coffee. We slept comfortably in a very well furnished room adjacent to a very...

I have a leaflet promoting the Dutch House and they advertise as being open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. I don't drive but my best friend does and we often go for days out in his car and I pay him petrol money. On May 1st we drove the 18 miles to Crayke to visit the Dutch House to...

The Dutch House is a great place to go to, whether you want a short country retreat or morning coffee. The staff made us feel exceptionally welcome, and the combination of nature and the arts suits me greatly. A uniquely awe-inspiring location in an idyllic setting.

My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Dutch House when we visited the area for a friends wedding. Our hosts gave to us a warm welcome, were very patient with all our comings and goings (even at a very late hour!) and fed us well with a fabulous breakfasts and lunches. Lovely bedroom decorated with care,...

Stayed at Dutch House for 2 nights in April this year. The reason for our visit - a gift for my friend's birthday that also included a basket weaving course. Both the accommodation and the course were a great success. The B & B is really more like a self contained cottage with the added benefit of breakfast made for...

The B&B at the Dutch House is much more than bed and breakfast - it is a chance to unwind and enjoy a magical rural ambience. The location on the edge of the Howardian Hills is indeed an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is complemented perfectly by the relaxed atmosphere of the cottage. There is a natural style and...

I have visited Dutch House several times now, and it's a really beautiful place. The house provides a panoramic view of the area. Their own wild garden fits perfectly into the Crayke Hills. The B&B room offers you a perfect view on the landscape and the tearooms courtyard. It's a very cosy and comfortable room, but most of all very...
