We were a family of 4 who spent 3 nights here over Christmas break. It was just wonderful! The rooms are clean and cozy and the view was stunning. They made us incredible breakfasts in the morning and constantly filled up the water stations for us. No matter what time of day or night, we took the early morning ferry, we were greeted with a smile! They even packed us a to go breakfast for that early morning ferry. The location is perfect because you are close to all of the restaurants and right on a beautiful beach. They have a little pool which is the perfect backdrop for drinking the tea they provide all day. They also have a great rooftop where you can hang up your wetsuits to dry and view the amazing sunset. We hope to see you again!

We loved staying at Hotel Albermarle! Such a cool and refreshing retreat from the heat of busy days exploring these beautiful islands. Our balcony overlooked the ocean, inviting sea breezes and a perfect vantage point for the array of animal activity below. A crystal clear pool, fringed with flowers just a few steps from the sandy beach. Delicious breakfasts with everything you could wish for. A rooftop patio with 360 degree views of beaches, volcanoes, misty highlands and stunning sunsets. So much beauty and wildlife could be experienced without even stepping out the door. The true gems are within however. The friendly and professional staff, Ana, Juliet and their team went above and beyond, making our stay incredibly special. What a horror this hotel is. Let me start by saying that the staff is very friendly and helpful. You don't have to leave it for this. The breakfast is also good. We had room 101. We highly recommend this hotel, we believe it has the perfect balance that has it all:
Service: all the hosts we’re all great, looking after us, giving advice about the activities, and very warm conversation as well. Kudos to the breakfast buffet staff in the kitchen. Special thanks to Juliette for being so attentive to our questions prior and during our stay. We went for a self-service snorkel activity in concha perla, and they were kind enough to lend us swimming fins.
Breakfast: has a good selection of options, with fruits, eggs, juice, toast, a very good balance of basics. It was served at a good time to meet excursion departure times. It is good enough to feel satisfied.
Room: in perfect condition, with both a ceiling fan and air-conditioning, enough storage space, and a very ample bathroom. Water temperature was quite good, very hot water, and the pressure was good too. We had a nice touch of decoration waiting for us as part of our honeymoon, and we were given a great room also because of it.
Location: can’t think of a better place to be located. Even though it’s in the street the noise is low and you are at a perfect walking distance from the beach and restaurants. It has a wonderful view to the ocean.
Facilities: The hotel is very well-kept, even has a small swimming pool in a middle courtyard. You can tell details are being kept, with good maintenance and cleanliness.
This was the last day of our honeymoon trip, and we want to thank you for making a memorable experience of a once in a lifetime event. We will be recommending you!!

My wife and I have stayed at many hotels, but we have never gotten the attention and service like we did at Hotel Albermerle with Juliette! She was incredible. She was so accommodating and sweet and even walked us to a bike rental shop and booked one of the best tours we did in all of Ecuador.
Juliette also checked to make sure we were happy with the room and helped dry some of our clothes after they got soaked from one of the tours. The room itself was very nice (oceanfront), spacious, and the shower was hot. It was a truly memorable stay and my wife will never forget Juliette helping arrange a birthday celebration for her!
Cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

The hotel is very nice, we had an ocean view room on the first floor. Breakfast is good - they have foils on the food to avoid any kind of mosquitos.
Do not book tours from the hotel desk, we found out that you find the same tours at half the price by walking in the plaza and asking any agency.

This has to be one of my top 3 hotels to stay in. Its location is stunning, right on the beach,and the views from the first floor rooms were on another level. The sun terrace is a great place to catch the sunset. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much . Plenty of choice at breakfast and filtered water freely available . We had a gorgeous hotel to enjoy this beautiful island in best location! We are SO happy to have stayed at hotel boutique Albemarle Juliette met us upon arrival and was so warm and welcoming. This hotel is GORGEOUS and very clean and is located right on the beach in one of the prettiest areas we saw during our trip. The whole staff is wonderful and helpful, There are plenty of comfortable lounging areas and the breakfast they put out is delicious . I would highly recommend this place!!!!! Also there is a roof terrace for enjoy the sunsets 🔅🔅

This is a beautiful hotel conveniently located on the beach. The rooms and all the common areas were meticulously kept. We were extremely comfortable during our stay. The breakfast was tasty and I appreciated having freshly brewed coffee (with milk!!) available all day (verses just a bottle of Nescafé). The staff (especially Gabriella) were extremely accommodating and helpful in providing bike rental recommendations. We used the pool and sun terrace in addition to the gorgeous beach right outside. I highly recommended staying here while visiting Puerto Villamil.
The one downside was that our room was right next to a soccer court where kids played at night. We could hear them very clearly from our bedroom. We could also hear the loud music from the beach. It didn’t really bother us but it may bother light sleepers.

The best airport to arrive to is the Baltra one, located 40 minutes away from the city of Puerto Ayora, from where you can take a speed boat to Puerto Villamil on Isabela Islands.
It will take you around two hour to get by speed boat, and schedules are 7:00 in the morning and 2:00 on the afternoon, however is always advisable to book in advance and to arrive half and hour before the departure so you can take the back seats, where the trip is more comfortable.
Your other option is to fly to Puerto Villamil, which is a 20 minute flight, is more comfortable.

Hiya, my experience was that the wifi did not work well in my room (although others had intermittent wifi in rooms). It worked fine in reception and there was also a computer which was much faster, although I only used it for emails, messenger chat and facebook for which it was fine. if you need wifi in your room I don't think this hotel will be Fast and efficient enough
I am not sure if there is internet cafes nearby as I said not look for one but if avaialbe these might be better
There are more places to choose from in the Puerto Villamil area.
