Hotel was a basic, decent hotel with good AC. It had good access to the downtown restaurants and activities. We were able to get laundry done nearby. The 11 mile hike to the volcano was amazing but muddy on way down. Try to do activities in the morning as it seems to rain in the afternoon.

We stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. My roomate and I had a large double room on the ground floor (a double bed each and room to spare). Was it basic - yes but it was clean and pretty comfortable. Buffet breakfast available in the morning. It's a short walk to the beach, supermarket and main street restaurants....

I was booked here by a tour company working with my local guide. The place is not a hotel, rather a rundown complex of rooms that are filthy and poorly appointed. It is far from the beach and surrounded by construction and dust. There are no elevators and the stairs are falling apart, which is a safety issue. The people...

We got booked here by our travel agency. We had some issues so thats why we end up with 2 stars. First of all they started with giving us the worst room they had(9) It was very small with tiny windows and it was smelling like a sewer. We managed to swap rooms(17 that was good) but the woman at...

Okay so firstly this is not a hotel. I think the wording hotel is incredibly misleading. Let's be clear this is a hostel. If you are aged 18 - 23 then this might be for you. I'm somewhat older than this and was on my honeymoon. Sadly my husband and I were ripped off by Intrepid tour operator as part...

San Vicente wasn't special one way or the other. We stayed for two nights as part of a package. The bed was hard and more facilities for drying bathers etc would have been good. On the other hand, the AC was quiet (interrupted by a neighbouring rooster) and Caroline on reception was very helpful.

Probably the most remote hotel in town, 500 m from sea side, when mosy hotels there are at the sea side....Got booked there by our travel agency, quoting a "charming hotel"... - a huge mistake. Noisy, no charm, standard room = backpakkers rooms, views on what looks like shanty town...Decided to move out on the beach side from day one...

Our stay was part of a prearranged package deal. I stayed at Hotel San Vicente with 3 family members for 3 of our 4 day island hopping Galapagos tour. The hotel is in a good location - walking distance of a supermarket, the beach, restaurants, bars, laundry services etc. The rooms were good (was on the third floor). They were...

This is really a basic hostel style accommodation. The shower handles were broken, the rooms were tired looking and need renovating, they did not look as new as the ones in the photos shown on this site. The included breakfast is pretty bad: sweetish bread, one type of juice and some fruits usually papaya or pineapple, granola and yoghurt. I...

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel San Vicente for 3 of our 5 day island hopping galapagos tour. It is in a great location on a beautiful island that is SAFE and a short walk to everywhere. The front desk staff that were english speaking, Caroline and Natalia, were super nice and friendly and informative! Caroline gave us all...
